Friday, January 19th was a big day for Def Leppard Announcements. First, Def Leppard’s entire catalog is now available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. Finally!!! It didn’t really matter to me as I already had everything they have ever put out (and then some), but now they have stepped into the modern times and are opening their music up to so many more people. And as a special treat, you get a new release called The Lost Sessions…
It has the following track listing:
DEF LEPPARD – THE LOST SESSION LIVE EP
- 01 – Let It Go (Live) – (5:09)
- 02 – Rock On (Live) – (2:48)
- 03 – Foolin’ (Live) – (4:43)
- 04 – Promises (Live) – (3:58)
- 05 – When Love & Hate Collide (Live) – (4:13)
- 06 – Bringin’ On the Heartbreak (Live) – (4:38)

What a day of announcements for Def Leppard. I know a lot of people posted about it, but they are my favorite band so I am not going to NOT talk about it too!!
I passed on the EP… couldn’t really see myself listening to it much. I did download the Def Leppard EP though. Great to have a good quality digital version of that at last!

Good choice!! The Lost Session E.Ps are for people like me that have to have everything. I have the DL EP on vinyl from Record Store Day, it is awesome and is now one my favorite pieces I own.

Totally. I’m sure I’ll grab it at some point but no rush. I’ve got the RSD vinyl too… but good to have the digital tracks too.

I added it to my apple music library for now. Yes, glad to now hear that one in the car. hard to do that with the vinyl copy.

Definitely haha. What I’m curious about is if the albums have been remastered for iTunes? Would think about buying the first couple of albums again if they have.

Good question. I would like to know that as well.

I’ve had texts from two different friends about this DL/Journey tour. Both wondered if they’d be able to fill the size of venues they’re booking. Will be interesting to see what happens!

Yes they will. Def Leppard has been doing very well touring the States. Based on all the people I have seen wanting to go, they should do fine.

That’s what I told them, but they weren’t sure. Up to DL and Journey to prove them wrong!

If the Penguins make it deep in the playoffs again this year (and the dates line up) – I might have to make the trip to Pittsburgh for a game & a Def Leppard show!
