Friday New Releases – December 10, 2021

It is possibly the last Friday New Release post of 2021 as next week there is only a handful of releases and nothing (in my opinion) of any real merit. But what do I know. For now, this is the last one and your last chance of grabbing any last minute Christmas gift ideas for people. If you have friends that like Alicia Keys, Green Day or Neil Young, there is something here your friend will need. For me, there is nothing here I will be adding to the list and nothing on my list until 2022. If I don’t post anything next week, then the next Friday New Release Post will come back on January 7, 2022…so until then keep on listening to music no matter what it is. Thanks for stopping by every week as we do appreciate your support!!

      1. Defiants, hands down for me. My first ever rock star interview was Paul Laine of The Defiants, so he wins. Just chatted with him this week and we will be doing another interview after the first of the year.

          1. I like Tokyo Motor Fist too with Steve Brown and Ted Poley. Love those guys.

Maybe someday you can get to chat with one. Paul is one of the nicest guys in the business. I’m still trying to get Jeff Scott Soto to chat. Fingers crossed.

  1. If this is the last Friday New Releases post of 2021, it’s been a hell of a ride! Nothing here for me this week, but it’s ok cause I already have some CDs I want to purchase from Amazon, but I’m slowly holding off on doing so because I don’t want to spend my money yet lol!

    1. Yep, last one for the year. Only about a 4 week wait until we start them back up in January. Just not enough releases in the next few weeks to make it worth doing and definitely no more major releases. The Christmas break has started for the music industry.

  2. I have my Tea Party indie reissue coming today, so I’m good on the new release front. Thanks for keeping us music junkies informed! The time off will allow me to listen to the way too many purchases I’ve made in the past six months.

My Santa Cruz self titled CD arrived yesterday. Yeah!

      1. You’ll get no argument from me! New music is always awesome, even when it’s not.

I think you should write Mr. Hoge. Given that I’m probably not the only one to buy his albums after seeing his videos on your site, I think you should ask for a finder’s fee.

  3. Green Day, Neil Young, Art Blakey, Jeff Tweedy. All ones I want to hear eventually but none that I need to run out and buy immediately. Something tickles me about Green Day getting a BBC set to sit on your shelves next to the Beatles BBC sets lol.
