Friday’s releases this week don’t have me overly excited, but still some possible good albums to enjoy. At least this week is rather diverse in what I am interested to hear. There is a little country, pop, alternative and some rock. If there is anything that you are are excited to hear, let me know.
Keith Urban – Ripcord (Capitol Nashville)
Keith always is very consistent and usually a few good songs worth keeping.
The Goo Goo Dolls – Boxes (Warner Bros.)
I was really disappointed in their last album and hoping this is better.
Rooney – Washed Away (CD Baby)
Not sure what to expect on this one. The lead singer, Robert Schwartzman, is the only remaining band member. I hope it is as good as their old stuff.
Andy Black – The Shadow Side – (Lava Music)
Andy Black is the lead singer of Black Veil Brides and now he is releasing his first solo album. I am expecting good things from this release.
The Rides – Pierced Arrow – (Savoy)
The Rides are Stephen Stills, Kenny Wayne Sheperd and Barry Goldberg. A pretty great line-up and as a fan of Kenny Wayne Shepherd this is a must listen. This is their second album and I am sure as good as the first.

Loved Keith Urban’s latest album, really disappointed with Goo Goo Dolls’s offering.
