Train – Play That Song Tour Announced – Opening acts O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield

Train announced their 2017 North American Tour called the Play That Song Tour.  The band O.A.R. and Natasha Bedingfield have been tapped as opening acts and it is going to be a great show.  For those that visit my blog regularly will know that Train holds a special place with our family and we have seen them numerous times and quite possibly one more time with this tour.

Train also released the lyric video for one of their new songs called “Drink Up”.  The song is from their new album ‘a girl, a bottle, a boat’ which comes out the same day as tickets go on sale.

Def Leppard, Poison & Tesla – Tour Dates

I am so excited to see that Def Leppard announced their latest tour dates for their North American Tour.  They will be going on the road with Poison and Tesla, an 80’s throwback show it appears.  The only disappointing thing for me as that the three will not be coming to Charlotte because Def Leppard will be headlining the Carolina Rebellion Festival in May.  I hope I get to go to the Rebellion to see them, but first I need to find someone willing to go with this old man.

Here are the dates below.  See if they are coming to your town and if so, you have to go see them. Def Leppard still puts on one helluva show.  For more info go to Def

Bon Jovi – Tour Dates 2017

Bon Jovi announced their new tour dates in support of their upcoming album ‘This House is Not For Sale’.  Not sure how excited I am about seeing them again as I have seen them several times.  Plus, they are not coming to Charlotte so I will not be traveling anywhere to see them.  But maybe you can.

People who have seen them in concert recently have already heard the whole album, but I have only heard three songs off the new album. Two are okay “This House is Not For Sale” and “Knockout”.  The third song, “Labor of Love”, is just plain awful. Nothing is GREAT!! so far.  Here is to still holding out a little hope for some great songs.

Tour Dates – Updated

I have finally tried something with my Tour Dates Page.  I have been struggling with what I wanted to do with it and I finally decided the first step was to actually have something on the page.

What I have done is put a list of bands that are currently on tour.  The bands are either coming to or near the Charlotte Area or a band I have seen or want to see.  The band name is a link to their website tour page and shows all their upcoming shows.

I will eventually think of something creative to do with it, but for now this is what I have.  I will do my best to keep it updated and if a band name doesn’t have a link anymore, they are no longer on tour.  If there are bands you would like to see added, please let me know in the comment section or email me at

James Bay – Tour Dates

Is a parent supposed to like the same artist that their child likes?  I am not sure that falls in the natural order of things.  However, I think this kid is incredible and my daughter agrees.

He just announced his tour dates for the Fall and you should go check him out.  I know we will.  His debut album “Chaos and the Calm” is out now on Republic.  Two of the great songs on the album are “Let It Go” and “Hold Back the River”.  He is an unbelievable talent.
