I will give props to Michael Bolton for actually re-recording the songs with a symphony orchestra and not just phoning it in, but I don’t see the need for basically another greatest hits package of songs from 30 years ago that feels tired and boring and left me missing the days of this Michael Bolton…

Thanks to SuperDekes for the idea…go check out his #OneSentenceReview of Canadian Rockers Max Webster: Live Magnetic Air (1979).
He was a rocker, once upon a time….

A good rock voice is a terrible thing to waste. See Rod Stewart.

He is or was an accomplished guitarist when he started out. What happened??

The money and ladies that loved his softer side. He found success there and no need to go back. Now, he just needs new music or something because these greatest hits packages and cover albums suck big time. Honestly, I think there is no saving him at this point. Oh well.

Beyond saving. I agree. And I know we poke fun at some of the metal and rock acts who release best of collections but as you said Bolton is no stranger to these collections
