This week on The Collection I join forces with Tim Durling at Tim’s Vinyl Confessions and we talk Kiss. Most importantly, we talk Kiss 8-Tracks. We are missing a couple of the 80’s ones, but have a pretty extensive collection of 8-Tracks and we go through them all. From the debut album all the way up to The Elder and then Tim has a surprise one he picked up and it was the final Kiss album on 8-Track. If you are a Kiss fan and love the 8-Track, this is a can’t miss episode for you.
So go check it out as it will be live tonight, August 25, 2025 at 7pm. Thanks for stopping by and please click “Like” and hit “Subscribe” as it helps out the site when you do.

Ah so this is what Tim was telling me about! He is good at keeping secrets.

He is a devious guy with his secrets!! It was amazing how many different versions we had.

There are so many. I only have two carts, but I can’t prioritize this stuff when there are still two Deep Purple box sets I need. Stuff I can play has to be my priority.

I get it.

As time goes, I think my collecting needs to be more focused. I like too many bands. I look at Tim and he has a VERY tight focus of limited numbers of bands. No side projects.

My collection has no focus. I can’t finish collecting one artist before I’ve moved on to another then another then another…you get the point! LOL!

Same problem buddy. Same problem. I also have certain friends trying to get me into bands they like! And thus begins a Y&T collection, a Night Ranger collection, a Boston collection…

There is no wrong or right way to be a fan. Unless you’re a rude idiot. That’s just a wrong way to live.
