After doing one of these meme collections on Johnny Cash I might as well do one on Country. I didn’t meant his to be an all out hatefest on Modern Country, but I couldn’t resist. I don’t hate today’s country music, I just don’t think it is country music. It is pop music with a Southern twang.

My Sunday Song #28 is “Amazed” by the band Lonestar. I can attest to my wife loving this song as it is one of the most played in my library. Here she is to tell you why she loves this song…
“Amazed” is a song written by Marv Green, Aimee Mayo, and Chris Lindsey. The first version of the song was recorded by the American country music group Lonestar, whose version was released in March 1999 as the second single from their 1999 album Lonely Grill. If you’re looking for a good love song, this is one you’ll want to put on your all time favorites list.
“Amazed” is one of those love songs that you can truly “feel” when you sing or listen to the words. This feeling is especially heightened when you have someone you are madly in love with. It could be a new love or one that’s been around for years. I first heard this song when I started dating my husband which is why “Amazed” is very special in my heart. To this day, 16+ years later, I still get goose bumps when I hear this song and he still amazes me with pretty much everything he does.
