Welcome to the first Friday New Release post of 2022. It isn’t a big start, but a start nonetheless. This week there is nothing I need but maybe there is something in here for you. I might check out the Bowie release but that is all. Let me know if there is anything for you this week. If not, next week starts to get back to normal with a ton of releases and it doesn’t look like it is going to slow down anytime soon. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
David Bowie – Toy – (Rhino / Parlophone): This is the missing album from around 2000 that never got released. It is finally time to bring it to the masses. Based on the album cover, I’m a little freaked out as that is the scariest looking Bowie baby I have ever seen. I might have nightmares. Hopefully the music doesn’t give me nightmares. I am sure it won’t as it is Bowie!!
And all the rest…
AmaLee – Rise of the Monarch – (Leegion Creative)
Infected Rain – Ecdysis – (Napalm Records)
Wilderun – Epigone – (Century Media / Wilderun)
Nocturnal Graves – An Outlaw’s Stand – (Nocturnal Graves)
Necrophagous – In Chaos Ascend – (Transcending Obscurity Records)
Power Paladin – With the Magic of Windfyre Steel – (Atomic Fire Records)
Dope Lemon – Rose Pink Cadillac – (Angus Stone / BMG Rights)
Twin Atlantic – Transparency – (Staple Diet / Believe)
Summer Years – You Can’t Live There Forever E.P. – (Enci Records)
Lindo Frisson – Punktronika – (Blackout/white)
CJ Folds – Love at War (Mr. Lonely) – (Until Forever Recordings)
Trey Russell – Train Wreck – (Dillon’s Garage) – No video
Rachel Bradshaw – Rachel Bradshaw E.P. – (Rachel Bradshaw)
RuPaul – Mamaru – (RuCo Inc.)
You literally read my mind about that Bowie album cover!!! Like I don’t want to be judgemental, but what the heck were they thinking?

Good to know…but it will be a long while until I can get to an album ranking for them.

It’s true, you should listen every album 6 or 7 times, it would take a while

I just meant my schedule is full right now, I will work on adding them in but it will be later this year.

I almost didn’t do this week’s post, but when I found over 10 albums, I thought, why not as it is a popular post and don’t want to deny the readers what they like.

It picks up soon enough.

I don’t recognize any of these acts, which isn’t a bad thing. I’m apparently babysitting triplets tomorrow. Assuming they plot against me, I’ll barricade myself in a room and check out some of these songs.

I guess this will be the last we hear from you then as I am sure the triplets will destroy you!!!

I usually find something I like on your Friday New Releases posts.

That is why I do them. I figured this would be a hard week as it was so limited.

Missed the list so much. Seems like Friday isn’t Friday or feel like one without the list.
Thanks!! Bowie for me.

You are welcome. I am glad to have it back. If you don’t have new releases to look forward, what else is there!!

Thank god there’s nothing here as I’m still catching up to last years November and December releases.
