That The Dead South album cover sure does look like the one from Rancid.

I don’t know Rancid so I’ll have to go look.

Picked up the Japanese Edition of Danger Danger’s Screw It! Love it. I haven’t heard it in years and forgot how much I like this one.

It’s a classic, probably the best album of pure Glam Metal of 1991 (in other terms, go away Skid Row’s Slave To Grind and GN’R’s Illusions)

My favorite of theirs at least. And I do listen to it way more than GNR Illusions.

Marillion. I didn’t preorder so I hope I didn’t make a big mistake. They’re saying it’s their best album in years. They said that last time too.
Personally no Marillion album has hit me since 2003’s Marbles.

I figured you’d have to have it complete the collection at least.

I’m interested in Nilufer Yanya and Weather Station this week.

I don’t think either were on the list, so thanks for mentioning. I can’t get them all.

Nothing I have to have, a few things I’ll probably look up at some point. Nice to have a quiet week.

Agree, I needed a quiet week too!!

I already have my Stereophonics CD on order. Earlier this week, I got my new White Lies, Bloodsport soundtrack remaster and score from the Crow. My wife is out of town this weekend, meaning I should actually have time to listen to it all!
The Mike Campbell release has me curious. He wrote some good stuff while working with Tom Petty.
Happy Friday everyone.

You have a lot to keep you busy. Now don’t get in to too much trouble with the wife gone!!

Lol. Knowing me, I’ll probably pass out with the kids with headphones blasting! I might also get sidetracked by watching the movies instead of listening to the soundtracks. I can’t remember the number of times I watched Bloodsport.
Thanks for reminding me about next Friday. I’ll have the new Ghost CD in my hands!

Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs is close to a get from me. Maybe if I see it on sale. I barely listened to their last album after I reviewed it.

I didn’t pick the debut, but I’ll at least listen to this one he’s earned that respect.

10 Years is one of my favorites so they’ll be getting some time.

Nice. That is another band my brother in law worked with on an album or two.

Wow, cool brother in law. He knows his stuff. How did that pan out?
Did the bands approach him or did the labels get him or did he end up on the album because he was working for the recording studio the band was recording at?

He mostly got in because of the producer he was working with, but nowadays it is reputation. He mostly though works with STP and Dhani Harrison.
