Appropriate timing for Hellfire with the whole Stranger Things Hell Fire club.

It’s Friday!!!! Thanks again for the list.
I liked Yours truly, not much else here this week. U didn’t highlight anything?

Nothing for me this week. Thank goodness.

Nothing for me this week. Nita is officially with Demi Lovato.

Awesome as Nita is, I’m glad Rambo is back the band.

Me too. Fun choice. I’m happy.

Is that a better move for her? I feel Gaga would have been a better gig, but she has to do what she feels is right.

Demi is a whole level of fame above Alice but I doubt it will be as musically fulfilling. Or have that musical comradery.

I guess we will see.

Watched Nita with Demi on Kimmel. Good song, but with minimal soloing. Can’t see this being artistically satisfying but what do I know? Good slamming pip rock. I’d buy it.

She probably will in the concerts though. TV is limited time so Demi gets all the attention.

Good point. Still, she definitely had more spotlight with Alice. With Demi she’s definitely more in the background. But I think her exposure will go through the roof. Millions saw her play last night.

I heard about that from Brendon Snyder’s Music News Round-Up episode and I was like, “whyyyyy?!? :(” Don’t even know who Nita is, but to go from rock to pop is a bad move in my book.

I say good for her. National TV exposure last night on Kimmel, exposure to a legion of new fans. In fact Nita may inspire many young girls now, where before her audience was mostly male. Not to mention she’ll be making more money.

It is a good thing for her! Exposure will be great and I bet she gets a moment that is all hers during the show while Demi does a wardrobe change or something. It will be good. I loved her with Alice though. She’s great!

True, but it’s pop music. Then again, you do what you gotta do to make a living!

Did you hear about that whole Lizzo controversy for her new album this week? They came after her for using the word spazz in one of the songs, which is apparently an unforgivable slur now. She changed the lyrics because of it.

Yeah, totally F’d up. So stupid and people need to chill!

Yeah. It’s something parents call their kids if they’ve had too much sugar. I’d never heard it refer to people with cerebral palsy until now.

The word is really frowned upon in the UK. Weird Al had to do the same about 10 years ago. Different cultures and stuff.

Had no idea.

You spaz!

Spazz is a slur? That’s news to me. I haven’t heard someone say that in twenty, maybe thirty years.
Demi looks to be seeking some rock credibility by bringing on someone like Nita. Maybe Nita moved so she would see any more men’s underwear up close?
I might check out Interpol.

I didn’t realize it either. But what do I know, I’m old and out of touch.

Some person with cerebral palsy got butt hurt on Twitter about it. She called it an “ableist slur.” So no one found it offensive until she whined about it.
Lizzo should have doubled down and changed the lyric from spaz to retard.

Yeah, I won’t even say that “r” word. That one is pretty bad.

Nice to see Interpol putting out new music. I’ll check that one out.

Yeah! That is good for them. Glad to see it even though not a fan but nothing against them. They are good.

I used to love Sabrina Carpenter in high school, so I’ll give it a listen, but I doubt I’ll buy it!

My youngest likes her and is excited about the new album. She got to meet her a few years back.

That’s right! I remember you told me about your daughter meeting her! I admire that Sabrina doesn’t let her height hold her back.

Anthrax… maybe. I’m still not sure what XL is.

It is either Extra Large, but most likely 40 for 40 years.

Nothing here this week really and I’m ok with that…

Palace was an OK listen. Nice melodic rock. Nothing original but still a cool listen.

Ok is about what I think of Palace. Nothing special. But not bad either.
