Friday New Releases – March 8, 2024

This week is going to be an awesome week. Why? Because the new Judas Priest album, ‘Invincible Shield’ is out. My Target Deluxe Edition is on its way and can’t wait to spin it!! I’m also waiting on the 50th Anniversary Alice Cooper ‘Billion Dollar Babies’ album. I might check out the Norah Jones release too. For a lot of other people, I am sure the Ariana Grande new one will be a popular choice. And there some George Lynch fans out there (not me) who will want the new The End Machine album. Let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Five box sets showed up on my doorstep this week, including the Def Leppard collection volume 2. My credit card was swiped so many times it left skid marks. As much as I’d like to listen to Priest, I will have to pass for this week.

  3. Yes indeed! I am ready for some Judas Priest style heavy metal! JP on CD and A. C. on vinyl scheduled to be delivered today. I’m also considering whether I want to order the new Blaze Bayley that was released a couple of weeks ago. I’ve been listening to it online and I’m really digging it. As always thanks for the list.

  4. Wow there’s a ton of stuff here that caught my interest today! Nils Lofgren just keeps on chugging along, incredible. Speaking chugging along, Dion, Taj and Loreena McKennitt, that clip sounded incredible. As did Norah Jones. I listened to the Rhythm Section, new to me but I loved that song!

  6. I’m excited for Judas Priest’s ‘Invincible Shield’ and am picking it up at Target tomorrow (3/9)! However, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited about Ariana Grande’s ‘Eternal Sunshine,’ as well. I have a soft spot for her!
