BCC for me. I skipped the third and fourth albums but this one looks to be a hell of a comeback.

I saw Thrice and Story of the Year Friday of last week. The day after the show, I bought ten discs. Thankfully, nothing caught my eye today. I’m a little disappointed that this Ratt rarities album didn’t appear in the Ratt box set I bought almost a year ago.
I LOVE the band name – Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

Wow! You must’ve really liked that show. I’m disappointed the Ratt rarities keeps getting pushed back. Now, I’m not getting my CD for another week or so.
And yeah, great band name. Don’t know anything about them really, but they look like a fun band.

The Gimmes rule! It is generally a super-group of members from other punk bands that get together and make themed (country, r&b, show tunes) records together. Everything they do takes songs you know and turns them into super-fast (and often hilarious) punk songs. Their two live albums have been recorded at a bar mitzvah and (now) a quincen era. The insouciance and energy is infectious. I love them and own all the stuff. Highly recommended!!!

I wouldn’t mind checking several of these out, too many to list really. Nothing I feel compelled to buy but several that interest me to some degree.
