Welcome to a new series I have on YouTube called Retro Rock Reviews. Each week, we are going to pick an album and do a quick review. They won’t be long shows, something quick and fun to get you through your day. For the first episode, I am going to do a review of George Harrison’s debut solo album ‘All Things Must Pass’. I reviewed it years ago for the site and thought it would be fun to do that one as my first episode for the new series. I hope you enjoy it…oh yeah…since the original series on YouTube is called ‘The Collection’…these reviews will only be albums in my collection…makes sense!
So go check it out as it is live now on August 8, 2024 at Noon.…because why not!! Thanks for stopping by and please click “Like” and hit “Subscribe” as it helps out the site when you do.

How do I keep up! LOL! Peter Kerr dropped a video today on Deep Purple Mk III, and I still have to watch John Clauser’s show on Love Is For Suckers, and then I’m taping TVC tonight! LOL! I need you to slow down or I’ll never keep up! LOL!
JK I’ll watch this afternoon when I have some time between cramming for TVC and work.

I feel bad. In a perfect world I would watch every video from my friends. I’d have to retire soon to do that lol.
Anyway I still haven’t watched this, because last night we found out the cottage is gonna be free this weekend, so I started packing at the last minute. Fortunately Saturday is a free day!

I hope we will…apparently there’s a big party across the street, so I don’t plan on sleeping.

I’ve heard of this album but never really listened to it. My first experience with George post Beatles was the 1976 album “Thirty Three and a Third.”

You have to hear this one if you like George or The beatles even a little. Might be best solo album of any of them.

Of all the Beatles post Beatles material, I have always liked George’s the best.

Great idea for a series John. Really enjoyed this as I barely know half the songs. Nice snag on the box set, looks in fabulous shape,

Thanks! It is an album that blew me away. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. And yeah, I am thrilled to have snagged such a beauty of a set in almost perfect condition.

Good review John. This was probably the best solo album by any Bealtle. He got a great sound on that album. It’s a headphone album to me. I forgot Ginger Baker was on it…
His album Cloud Nine would be my choice for his second best…I don’t like that hit either….but the rest of the album is good.

Thanks Max! It is an awesome release and so many great players on it. Hard to top this one. I’ll check out Cloud Nine.
