I see lots of familiar names this week, though none interest me. Oh well, there is always next week! Thanks for the list.

Yeah, lame week…and they don’t really get better any time soon, sadly. At least not for me. A few good ones here and there, but not many.

The Garbage is good. The Grace Potter is disappointing. I haven’t played the Minus 5 yet. But I will. Also. Budos Band? Nice. I dig those Dudes.

I forgot about Garbage. I need to go back and listen to that one.

Budos Band are local Staten Island boys here, great band, they put on a kick-ass live show. Saw Anderson East few weeks ago here at little joint in Brooklyn, “Baby’s All Right”. Dude sounds like he coulda been making albums in mid 60s classic soul days in Muscle Shoals w/ Otis Redding. Cool live show, band was xclnt…

Nice to see some local boys doing well. And Anderson has a cool sound, my kids turned me on to him. Great vocals and style, very throwback.
