The Bush album was pretty good. I’m not a big fan of Styx anymore and can’t get in to this one sadly. I’m trying but it is a little bizarre for me.

I streamed the Styx on my walk and it may be one of those ones that has to grow on you as a listener.

May be…but not sure it will click with me.

I get it. It’s weird for me too. Styx was one of my favorite bands, at least before Dennis was ejected. Since then, they’ve been hit or miss for me. However, when Styx – The Mission was released, I was really excited and liked it immediately. I still like it. But for some reason, I just could not get into “Crash Of The Crown”, despite all of the positive reviews. I listened to it again a couple of weeks ago, but I was still underwhelmed by it. I purchased this new one, and I’ll listen to it eventually, but I’m not too excited.

Maybe someday the new one will catch hold, but I don’t suspect it will. At least they are putting out new music and making an effort. As the diehards I’m sure will love the new one.

Nothing for me this week, but next week, the new Alice Cooper album drops. I’m excited for that one. Today, I do have an older CD arriving. From 2022, Grailknights – Muscle Bound For Glory. I’m so glad power metal bands like this exist. Also, I did get the new Styx album from their website almost a month ago and I still haven’t listened to it. Maybe I’ll get to it this week. As usual, thank you for compiling and posting the list.

I don’t know that album or band at all. There is a lot of power metal I don’t know about though to be fair. And maybe someday you’ll get around to the Styx album. I streamed it and didn’t get in to it.

I will probably check out Lord Huron, I got tipped off about them awhile back on a blog. I am curious about the Metal Church box but I have most of those on CD already so I don’t think I’ll double dip with vinyl.

Ha! Don’t blame you. Unless it has something new no need to buy the Metal Church. I need to start being way pickier in that regards.

That Colin Hay cover looks amazingly budget.
