It is yet another Friday and another long list of new releases. However, this week does not hold a lot that I am interested in giving a listen. Hopefully there is something of interest to you so let me know what you like.
The albums I am interested in listening to are highlighted in Blue as usual.
Usher – Hard II Love – (RCA): Usher always has some great songs and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us on this release. He is the essence of cool, but this album cover is not the most attractive cover I have seen.
Meatloaf – Braver Than We are – (Savoy Label Group): Usually Meatloaf and Jim Steinman put out great, epic songs. I am not hearing many good things about this release. One reviewer gave it a 35% out of 100%. Not sounding like much of a release. I will reserve judgment and listen to with an open mind… at least try anyway.
Ryan Stevenson – Fresh Start – (Gotee Records): A Christian artist and I am always interested in picking up some new music. I heard one song and was really impressed so I figured I would add him to my must list for this week.
Casting Crowns – The Very Next Thing – (Provident Label Group): Another release from this fantastic Christian band. They release, I listen. No different this time. I can usually guarantee a few great songs to add to my library.
Led Zeppelin – The Complete BBC Sessions (3 CD Set) – (Rhino Records): If I can stream it on Apple Music, I will give it a listen. I will definitely pick up the one new song, “Sunshine Woman” (sort of new, just never released from 1969 I think).
Aaron Lewis – Sinner – (Dot Records)
Taking Back Sunday – Tidal Wave – (Hopeless Records)
Against Me! – Shape Shift With Me – (Total Treble)
Ken Navarro – Bonfire – (Positive Music Records)
Willie Nelson – For the Good Times: A Tribute to Ray Price – (Sony Legacy)
Ian Hunter – Fingers Crossed – (Jjm)
Die Antwoord – Mount Ninji and Da Nice Time Kid – (Zef Records)
Carrie Newcomer – The Beautiful Not Yet – (Available Light Rec)
I bought that Zep BBC album on it’s first go round. Really have no interest in the added stuff as i’m a fan but not a diehard.
I will stay say that for a band that been broken up for basically 46 years can still find tracks in the vault is impressive to stay the least….

I listened to it on Apple Music and it was good, but like you I am not a diehard fan and won’t get as long as I can stream it.
