It is the last Friday of the month. Fall is upon or at least starting to feel a little like Fall. And the new releases keep on coming and this week there are a bunch. We have Anniversary celebrations, live albums and yes, even a Christmas album (ughh!!). Is there anything I am going to run out and buy? No, I will stream some, but nothing here that is a must have for me. I am sure there is something for you though as there is such a wide variety of releases. Let me know what you want to hear or what I may have missed as if it isn’t on here, at least it will be in the comments so people will know…all 3 of you (ha!). Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
I will probably stream these…
The Rolling Stones – Steel Wheels Live (Live from Atlantic City, NJ 1989) – (Eagle Rock Entertainment)
Deftones – Ohms – (Reprise Records)
And here are all the rest…
Machine Gun Kelly – Tickets to My Downfall – (Bad Boy / Interscope)
Bob Mould – Blue Hearts – (Merge Records)
Lou Reed – New York (Deluxe Edition) – (Warner Music Group)
Alpha Wolf – A Quiet Place to Die – (Sharptone)
Ayreon – Transitus – (Mascot Label Group)
Sizzy Rocket – Anarchy – (Lost Cherry)
The Hives – Live at Third Man Records – (Third Man Records)
Diana Krall – This Dream of You – (Verve Records / UMG)
Carrie Underwood – My Gift – (Capitol Nashville)
The Neighbourhood – Chip Chrome & The Mono-Tones – (Columbia Records / Sony)
JoJi – Nectar – (88 Rising Records)
Muscadine Bloodline – Burn It At Both Ends – (Stancaster Music)
Granger Smith – Country Things, Vol. 1 – (This is Hit / Wheelhouse Records)
The Bob Mould one really rocks…

I’ve been listening to Atlas – Parallel Love and Trishula – Time Waits For No Man. They are Derivative melodic rock and it’s fitting in nicely for a Friday

Nothing wrong with derivative melodic rock. Sometimes you are really looking for the sound and doesn’t matter who is singing.

I purchased on iTunes Stones Steel Wheels Atlantic City show as well as Big Sugar’s Hemi-Vision which is 25 years old!
Queen released a live song from the live album as well which I think drops next week as well.

You should be busy! My Queen one is ready to ship but doesn’t look like I am getting release day delivery. It seems Amazon has stopped doing that.

I noticed that with the Halford book as it’s released on the 29th and I should get to between Oct 1-5

Some others out today are Kataklysm, Painted Doll, The Ocean, Obsidian Kingdom, Ewigkeit.
I have Kataklasm on order and I listened to the new single by Machine Gun Kelly and actually liked it. A pop-punk mash up of Frank Turner and maybe Blink 182 or maybe Green Day. This is supposedly a change of direction for him but I never heard his music before so I can not say. Maybe I will check it out as well.
