Billy Idol – Funko Pop! Rocks

Community! With this website, I have discovered that there are a lot of people out there that love to talk music. That group of bloggers/writers that I have met have made me feel at home and I’ve found a real sense of Community among them. One person in particular seems to epitomize that feeling of Community above all others. That would be Aaron over at KeepsMeAlive. He has sent me something before and this one was completely out of the blue. He apparently was strolling through a store and saw this thing all by himself and felt it needed a good home.

What he found was the Funko Pop! of Billy Idol. Aaron knew I was a Billy fan because of the Billy Idol Series I did a couple years ago (and because he sent me a Generation X album as well a couple years back too!!. He might be one of the nicest guys in the world (at least in North America anyway). Aaron is in Canada and I’m in the U.S. so I know this took some effort to get it shipped across the border (especially in this Covid World). It was much appreciated. So, Thank You Aaron!! You found Billy Idol a good home.

Now, Billy isn’t alone. I am not a collector of Funko Pops, but I do have a few from two of my favorite bands. Billy will have some friends to hang out with and maybe jam a little when I’m not around (The toys in Toy Story come alive when no one is looking, so why not my Funko Pops).   1. That is so cool looking! Now I wanna have Billy Funko doll too. Local game store went belly up before the covid hit so there’s really no store here where they are on display.

    That Billy Idol one sure looks cool. The ones I’ve been eyeing are Iggy and Lemmy. Is there a BJ one?

    1. I’ve seen the Iggy and Lemmy. I don’t really collect them but I had to have the Leppard ones and my daughter bought me the Kiss ones. I don’t know if I’ll get anymore as I don’t have the room for them.

  5. You need to put a band-aid across Funko Pop! Billy Idol’s nose. He just announced he’s having surgery because of some lingering issues with his sinuses and he won’t be touring with Journey this spring so I won’t get to see him next month. Having Toto fill in for him on tour is a bitter pill to swallow indeed, but here’s hoping he makes a speedy recovery!

  12. I went shopping with my son and found that Billy Idol Funko doll!!!! So now I have it too! My son found Thanos Funko doll. According to him only about 20 people have ever heard of Billy and everyone everywhere knows Thanos. Kids…
