ZZ Top – Raw: That Little Ol’ Band From Texas Soundtrack – (Tower Top Tours / Shelter Music Group / BMG): The ZZ Top documentary was awesome. One of the best I’ve seen in a long while. I think it stopped way too early and would’ve been more informational if it would have continued on until more recent times rather than stop at their MTV Peak. Regardless, they are finally getting around to a soundtrack for the album so get ready to crank this baby out!

I believe I’m in the clear this week, though I got an email that the Motley Crue reissues came out today.
I don’t know about you, but it’s shocking that there is no Frontiers backed supergroup release.

Frontiers need a breather I guess. Those Motley reissues suck. C’mon, put some unreleased tracks on them. Otherwise, ZERO reason to buy them.

We are going on 12 days of above 90 now and will hit 16 days in a row before any relief.

It rained big time two days ago. Yesterday it was 73! That was the high! Thank God.

Nice!! No relief for us. We might break our streak of 90 degree days on Sunday but it would be 89 and then back to 90’s. We usually have 44 days of 90 degrees a year and we are at that now and not in August yet!!

Fuck summer. I used to like it when I was a kid, but now it’s my least favorite season. I’ll take winter here over 90-100 degrees any day.
