Happy Friday! Welcome to another week of new releases and we have over 40 for you this week including a new Greatest Hits package from Aerosmith. How’s this one different, well, it is a deluxe package so I guess that makes it different. And we also have one from The Dead Daisies. With a multitude of singers and players, the best of the bunch are gathered here for your listening pleasure. Outside of that, for me there really isn’t anything else I’m overly interested in, but I hope there is something for you with this varied batch of artists. Let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Maybe it’s just me, but I swear, album covers keep getting weirder and weirder, especially in the pop world. Yep, nothing for me. But thanks again for doing these weekly posts, John!

At least we have bands like Aerosmith, who keep fighting the good fight against that trend.

I don’t know about that. They’ve had some bad album covers too.

Yeah, but the new one looks refreshingly simplistic in the midst of all the weird sh*t

Oh you mean for their recent greatest hits album? Yeah, I like it with the red background and fancy logo of theirs.

Sometimes a logo is so awesome, they just have to just slap it on the cover with a cool background and call it a day. Also, some of the biggest albums ever have literally nothing on the cover, so that should be a case for less is more.

I do see your point. Sometimes a simple album cover is enough!

I don’t do CD Japan as they ship by courier which creates a huge mess at home.
