This week there are a handful of releases and only one for me I want to hear and that is the Bryan Adams release ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’. Should be awesome. But there is a lot more out than that so I hope you can find something. Let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Happy Friday! Welcome to another week of new releases and we have over 40 for you this week including a new Greatest Hits package from Aerosmith. How’s this one different, well, it is a deluxe package so I guess that makes it different. And we also have one from The Dead Daisies. With a multitude of singers and players, the best of the bunch are gathered here for your listening pleasure. Outside of that, for me there really isn’t anything else I’m overly interested in, but I hope there is something for you with this varied batch of artists. Let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Aerosmith – Greatest Hits Deluxe – (Universal Music / Queen of Denial / Aerodisc Partnership)
The Dead Daisies – Best of The Dead Daisies – (Dead Daisies)
Here we are! Another Friday of new releases and this week has a HUGE one with the new album from Metallica!! I will listen to it before I buy it as I’m not a massive Metallica fan, but I know a ton of you out there love them so they are first on the list. I am actually more interested in Jason Bieler’s new album from his project Jason Bieler & the Baron Von Bielski Orchestra. ‘Postcards from the Asylum’ is going to be an eclectic mix of adventurous songs and I can’t wait. My copy should be here soon and it will be signed by Jason!! I thought I wanted to hear the new Mike Tramp album but I can’t imagine he could do anything that would improve on those great White Lion songs. Anyway, that is enough about me. What do you want to hear this week? What did we miss? Let us know and as always thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend!!
Metallica – 72 Seasons – (Blackened Recordings)
Jason Bieler & the Baron Von Bielski Orchestra – Postcards from the Asylum – (Baron Von Bielksi)
How are we already in June. This is crazy. Where does the time go? Thankfully, however, we have a bunch of new releases to help us enjoy the flying time ever more. There are bunch of releases this week covering many different genres so there should a little something for everyone. There are a bunch I want to hear, but nothing I am running out and buying because all my money is going in to next week’s new releases. As my close friend Barney says, “It will be LEGENDARY!!!” My choices are highlighted in Blue. Let me know what you want to hear and what I may have missed so everyone can know. Thanks, as always, for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Crowded House – Dreamers Are Waiting – (Lester Records / BMG): The boys are back. Neil Finn and gang are back with their first album in 11 years. I guess Neil’s short sting with Fleetwood Mac got his creative juices flowing. They have already been playing to huge sold out shows in New Zealand so hopefully sometime over the next year, they will make to the States. I didn’t Dream it Was Over and I’m glad it really isn’t…yes that was cheesy.
Billy F. Gibbons – Hardware – (Concord Records): The ZZ Top frontman is back with another solo album. He has been pumping them out and I for one am glad he is. As much as new Top music would be great, this is the next best thing. It is exactly what you would expect from Billy. And Matt Sorum on drums
Welcome to another Friday of music new releases. There are a bunch to choose from, but sadly I am not real thrilled about any of them. That is probably a good thing since I had so many from last week that I am still enjoying. There is one I will listen to out of the bunch (highlighted in Blue) and the rest who knows if they will ever find the playlist. Hopefully with all to choose from, there is something that you will gravitate towards. Let me know what interests you are doesn’t. Thanks and have a great weekend!!
Tobymac – The Elements – (Forefront Records): Tobymac has always proven to me he is a talented artists whether it was with DC Talk or his solo works. The mixture of hip-hop, pop and rock is always a great combination. He spreads the word and makes it an enjoyable experience. This will be the only album this week that is a must listen, the rest…ehh!.
Live – Local 717 E.P. – (Kalvary Records): It has been awhile since any new Live material and it is much needed. I heard the song below and was intrigued. This might be first up for the day.
Elvis Costello & the Imposters – Look Now – (Concord Records)
Tom Morello – The Atlas Underground – (Comandante): This one might get a listen…this song is pretty good.
Kurt Vile – Bottle It In – (Matador): Okay, maybe this one too.
