Here we are! Another Friday of new releases and this week has a HUGE one with the new album from Metallica!! I will listen to it before I buy it as I’m not a massive Metallica fan, but I know a ton of you out there love them so they are first on the list. I am actually more interested in Jason Bieler’s new album from his project Jason Bieler & the Baron Von Bielski Orchestra. ‘Postcards from the Asylum’ is going to be an eclectic mix of adventurous songs and I can’t wait. My copy should be here soon and it will be signed by Jason!! I thought I wanted to hear the new Mike Tramp album but I can’t imagine he could do anything that would improve on those great White Lion songs. Anyway, that is enough about me. What do you want to hear this week? What did we miss? Let us know and as always thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend!!

These heaps today.
Of course I gave the Metallica album a spin. It bored me on first listen. But as a fan I’ll give it a fair go.
Interested to hear Mike Tramps reinterpretations.

Controversially skipping Metallica, due to the fact that I NEVER play the last 2.
Bieler is a YES.

Dan the local owner of my go to record shop here in town texted me on Wednesday that he had a copy of Metallica set aside for me some kind of limited edition which is the same price as the regular on vinyl. So I’m going to pick that up today… Like what I heard from the tracks they dropped as I still play Hardwired on occasion…
Thanks for this list as always…

Absolutley. Dan told me he brought in 14 copies of the new Metallica. I was there at 11 am and he already had sold 10 and had only been open for 2 hours …

I think my wallet is safe for today. It took a good hit earlier this week, as I picked up some John Diva albums.
Mike Tramp sounds pretty good after all these years. I will stick to the original tracks though.

I’m more interested in Overkill’s new album than Metallica’s new album, to be honest. I don’t have high hopes for it, but if Metallica proves me wrong, then good for them!

I’m not really interested in Metallica, they became like Iron Maiden, releasing crappy stuff trying to be “different” from what made them successful. The L.A. Guns is not that bad, but Checkered Past was so good that Black Diamond is bad per comparison
