I ordered ‘The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion’ box set too! I wasn’t going to at first, but I really want that live show! And this is coming from someone that isn’t a huge fan of live albums, to begin with. I guess The Black Crowes are an exception. Plus, their ‘Shake Your Money Maker’ box set was dope, so I’m excited to see how ‘The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion’ box set compares to it!

Funny thing. If it was a Kiss or Leppard box set, price would not be an issue for me.

Well, if it’s for a band you really love, I can see that! But, I’m guessing you’re not a huge fan of The Black Crowes, so it makes sense why you didn’t get their recent box set.

I like the Crowes as I have the first box set and I want this one, but I guess I’m not that big of a fan if I’m not pulling the trigger. The Crowes apparently have a threshold with me.

Maybe the price will drop down in a year or two? I saw your review on the first box set and it’s a pretty dang good box set too.

Nothing I have to get, I’ll probably check out the Children Of Bodom show and I wouldn’t mind hearing the extra stuff on the Black Crowes set.

That Crowes set is too expensive. Why so much higher than the first box set they did? Nuts.

I just looked it up, that is a stupid jump in price. I think it’s a push on prices for new vinyl that is about to bite the industry in the ass. Shake Your Money Maker was far more reasonable than this.

Definitely stupid high. I bought Shake Your Money Maker because it was only like $100. But I can’t pay this price. They overpriced themselves. I’m hoping it sells poorly and they drop the price soon.

Crowes for sure. It is way overpriced on Amazon so I’m not ordering it at this time but I will stream it. You deserve a few weeks off from posting every Friday. Its a ton work but we appreciate it.

I think I’ll pass on this week’s releases. I got the new Dirty Honey and Nita Strauss albums earlier this week.
Speaking of new releases, it’s almost that time to list the top albums of 2023. There were definitely some good ones.
