  1. No worries, I wasn’t going to bother you about it! I know last year you saw a site in Germany that had good prices, well after the Carr Facebook page inflated the prices!

I wish I had the stomach for the crowds but it’s just not for me anymore.

  2. Nice one and some good scores there. I had breakfast with my friend and his wife at 10 and strolled along after that – very relaxed this year. I found everything I wanted too – Thin Lizzy, Ramones, Daft Punk, Pulp and Kate Bush. All seemed very civilized this year.

  3. After skipping last year’s due to poor mobility, I got up at bumcrack o’clock and made the drive to my nearest indie this year to be first in line at. He had only the one copy of Pearl Jam’s Dark Matter and I was determined. While there were a few things I fancied – our list seems less impressive than the US’s – it was that and Sonic Youth’s Hits Are For Squares for me

    1. I still need to listen to the Pearl Jam album, I keep forgetting. I’ve heard so many good things about it. Glad you got to get some RSD this year. It is getting nuts over here with RSD. Prices are insane and nothing is really “Exclusive” anymore. It gets released in some form or fashion eventually.

      1. Vinyl seems to be going that way in general but talking with others in the queue the real issue with the pricing is that it deters trying something new – there were a couple on there that I was curious about but certainly not ‘£35 for a handful of tunes’ curious about.
