The Collection: Ep. 52 – What’s In The Box? (55 CDs including Journey, Dokken, Sammy Hagar and more)

My buddy, Mike Ladano, at Grab a Stack of Rock had a friend named Len Labelle who was selling his CD collection. Mike sent pictures out and I was so in on buying as so many pieces that I needed. Len & Mike are in Canada and shipping was going to be expensive to the States, so I made sure to buy enough to make it worth it…and it so was. 55 CDs later and we have a ton of great stuff to add to the collection. If you like Journey, Dokken, Sammy Hagar, Tesla, Slaughter and more…you’ll like this.

So go check it out as it will be live tonight at 7pm, April 14, 2025 on YouTube. Thanks for stopping by and please click “Like” and hit “Subscribe” as it helps out the site when you do.

  1. Actually Len was just selling part of his CD collection. He kept the stuff he really wanted to keep, like Kiss for example.

As for this video, we are waiting for Harrison to receive his parcel, and then I shall make one massive video chronicling the entire odyssey and every album Len sold to us! Stay tuned for the whole enchilada!

            1. Oooh…I hope Jake’s shows up soon. I was getting worried about mine as I don’t think I’ve had one go 5-6 days without being scanned anywhere. And then suddenly it got scanned and was at my doorstep that day. Crazy. I’ve been loving listening to them so far.

              1. That is great to hear! Yeah I’m worried about the ones that don’t have tracking. We have 2 waiting to show up in Australia and one waiting to show up Not At State Farm. It’s stressful worrying about the wonderful tunes. Jake ended up with one of the ultimate Helix rarities.

  2. It always pains my heart a bit when someone is giving away (or selling) music collection. Wife & I had a period of time when we first got married that we moved 4 times in 10 year period, from 1st apartment etc to house where we are now. Every move she tried to get me to get rid of CD & album collection, lol…I had to fight hard each time for those beloved milk crates & boxes of cds to make the move again…Still got ’em & when friends or family members move & are throwing out their collections (age of streaming, no one likes packing & carrying CDs or albums to next move, somewhat understandable…I guess) I’m the garbage man taking their collections, much to my wife’s chagrin, lol…It’s a sickness she says
