A lot of old bands this week with new releases…I’m not sure what year I’m in actually as a result. But I think it is 2025. The only one I’m interested in hearing is the Led Zeppelin E.P. and Foreigner Box Set for ‘4’. For something newer, I’ll check out the new Daughtry E.P. , but that is probably all. That is insane. What did you buy?

Just CD – the new Tap and Zep. No vinyl, nothing fancy. $35 each.

That’s where I bought them, but US and Canadian Amazon are very very different.

That is almost criminally different though.

I wonder if I should cancel in hopes that prices drop or someone else has them cheaper? Will the Zep be hard to find in the future? Maybe I’ll just cancel Tap. Your thoughts?

That is up to you. I’m not a Tap fan (I’ll see the movie, but I don’t buy their music) so I can’t say. And I am sure the Zep will be around. I’m in no rush to buy that one either.

Maybe I’ll cancel Tap for now and get just Zep. I collect all Tap and we have to do a show on the new movie this fall with Meat and Dan, but I can wait.

I’ll look at the Motley track list first. I get the feeling it’s a Nikki repackaging money grab. I always hope it’s not though. Thanks for the list.
Yay Canadian versus American prices. I miss the days when our dollar was near or at par. Man that was such a long time ago!

Big week this time around. I have Spinal Tap on the way and will also most likely pick up Lorna Shore and Between The Buried And Me. I’ll check out the Zep EP and might grab it down the line. I think I can skip the Crue release, as far as I know the Home Sweet Home with Dolly Parton is the only new thing on it. I’ll also look into the Earth compilation and see if it lines up with stuff I already have, I’m not sure exactly what that release is.

I played the Tap this morning. It was pretty terrible save for the do-overs. That Led Zepp is hard to get excited about. But I will play it over the weekend

Seriously motley is worse than Kiss with so many “best off” and “greatest hits” releases.
Been spinning Daughtry as I’m very happy his last few releases are back in the modern rock genre, and as usual I give the Frontiers releases some time as well.

Nothing urgent for me this week (and the list is appreciated) – though I will see the Spinal Tap movie at some point!

Zep for me.
Surely I can’t be the only person who finds Ed Sheeran’s music so bland that it’s offensive?

Ha!! I had to listen to it a lot many years ago when my kids were into him, they are no longer so I don’t have to hear it anymore. Yeah Me!!!
