Congrats to your daughter! With the Len purchase, 2025 was my biggest year for music purchases since probably 2005! And I’m not done yet because on Dec 25 I order Kiss Alive!

I forgot about the Len purchase. That was huge for me. That is where most of Tesla, Dokken, Journey and Sammy came from. Dang flab it. I hate I didn’t mention that one.

Well I hope one of your personal stories you mention is interviewing Alan Niven! I am writing my “2025 in review” this morning (while studying Bon Jovi for Gran tomorrow) and this is what I wrote:
2. Alan Niven: Thank you John T Snow from 2Loud2OldMusic for inviting me to co-host his interview with former Guns N’ Roses manager Alan Niven. It was for his book Sound N’ Fury which has still not come out. John and I were fortunate enough to read it before “someone” had the plug pulled…and you can certainly guess who is probably responsible. What a great interview experience this was! Alan puffed his cigar and answered our questions thoughtfully and with considered wit. A formidable man who treated us with nothing but thanks and gratitude.

Just got myself a punch of cd’s for Christmas. Darkness One way ticket box set is among them. So is Prince’s Around the world in a day 2 cd set.

Congratulations on beefing up the collection. I’m jealous.
Like Mike, 2025 was a big year for my music collection. I added 21 albums. I have four more to be delivered soon, as I close in on 2300 CDs. The first January release for me will be Starset’s new album.
It was a banner year for new releases. Crazy Lixx, Ghost, Coheed and Cambria; the list goes on.
The best part music wise of 2025 was seeing my nine year old daughter unwrapping her first CD. Sure, it was a Taylor Swift album, but we all start somewhere, right?
