I have a new obsession (one of many). I have started buying band T-Shirts. My daughter laughs at me for going into a store where she buys clothes and then I grab a couple things as well.
Oh well, it doesn’t stop me. It all started harmlessly early last year with shirts that showed music in some way…
But since the start of the year, If I see I shirt I want, I am buying it. The first was this Def Leppard Shirt I got at Christmas…
Then I was at a store and they were offering 2 for $30 and I thought..why not…
And then we were on vacation, and I had to have these two I saw at a T-Shirt shop…
Oh yeah, and just this past weekend…
Now I know that isn’t a lot of shirts, but I feel it won’t be the end of my purchasing journey…I am obsessed and wear them all the time around the house and now that it is getting warmer, I will be wearing them everywhere. I guess I can add them to the 2 concert shirts I had bought recently that I posted in the Concerts, Concerts, Concerts series from the several months back and the James Bay Concert.
Here’s to future purchases and another post once I gather a bunch more shirts.
I used to buy a tee every gig I went to. Have a ton of them still, though I haven’t bought one in a few years.
Anyhoo, some fine tees there. Particularly dig the AC/DC and Led Zep (and classic Stones, obviously!).

Thanks. The Zep is the most comfortable Tee. I wish I could find more like that one.

I love band t-shirts! I buy and wear them, too. I don’t care what people think. I have Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Sixx:A.M., Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Motley Crue, etc. I even have one that says Nikki Sixx for President. They’re comfortable. I had some guy walk up to me in the grocery store and start talking all about the last time Judas Priest was here in concert. Too funny. I was old enough to be his mom!

LOL!! The Tees are definite conversation starters. I need most of the ones you have listed. Haven’t found the right ones yet.

I know what you mean. Some of the knockoff shirts are a bit cheesy.

Nice John..good to see The Who! Years ago I had a Who Hoodie from there 89 tour and on the back it said “The Kids Are Alright Tour!” A few people thought when they seen the back of it it was a New Kids On The Block Hoodie?? Hahahaha….Gah!
Cool stash I may have to do one as well!…

NKOTB…Awesome!! Not sure how you would confuse the two, but everyone has off days. The Who shirt is my favorite design wise. Something about Pete jumping mixed with Union Jack is cool to me.

There is a place I go for vinyl and he now has vintage shirts. I will have to check them out next time and see what they have.

I guess I am compensating for the fact I never bought them when I was young and now, I figure why not. Plus, it gives me something to write about 🙂
