Happy Friday Everyone! We have another long list of releases for you today and isn’t that why you came to this page…yeah, we know it is. Now this week there are only 2 I’m interested in. One that has been bought and will be here today and the other is one I want to try out as I liked the song I heard and my Canadian followers will be happy. My choices are highlighted in Blue. I am sure there is something on here for you as there is so much there is probably something for everyone. I hope you find something you like! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Stone Temple Pilots – Tiny Music…Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop (25th Anniversary) – (Atlantics): This is a MUST HAVE!! I have ordered and it is on the way. The first two box sets in the Anniversary Series they are doing were top notch and this one looks great as well. You get a remastered album, a bonus disc of demos and such and then a live show from the era and that is all you want in a good box set. My Brother-In-Law worked on this one as well and he mixed a bunch of he unreleased stuff (or was it the live show, I can’t remember). Anyway, I am excited and I will be really excited if he remembers to get a me a copy of the 7″ Single that is only available on the STP Site.
Lee Aaron – Radio On – (Metalville): And here is a long standing Canadian artist that has been around for a long time and she still sounds fantastic. I heard the track I posted below and it has intrigued me to want to give the rest of the album a listen. Who doesn’t a love a woman who can rock out with the best of them!!
And then there is all this other great stuff. I hope you find something you like!!

Definitely interested in the Lee Aaron and is the Yngwie Malmesteen a new release? If so, he can still work magic on the guitar.

As far as I know, the Yngwie is new. I’m not a fan but he is pretty good.

New Yngwie with Yngwie on vocals as well. I heard a few tracks and I’m definitely off the train. From when he released “Fire and Ice” only a few albums have got me interested.

You know I’ll be giving the Tiny Music extras a whirl. I weighed it up and decided against shelling out £75 for the deluxe set when I have the LP (the MOV press has the full length Press Play) and live show already. The draw is the 2nd disc. I’ll likely snag the CD when the price drops.

Nice that you have that on vinyl already. I don’t so I grabbed it plus with Ryan mixing a lot of the songs, I had to get it. I am looking forward to the bonus disc as well.

Sorry nothing for me again, but I appreciate you for keeping up with what’s happening in the music world John! I also like that Lee had an AC/DC and a Suzi Quatro sticker on her boombox.

I didn’t even notice that. I will have to look at her cover again.

Nobody knows what’s up! Apparently he had a release party last night too!

All the press he got about the release party and the album coming out today, I went in yesterday and updated the post to include his album since that would’ve been a huge release.

Some fans are saying it’s just Kanye being Kanye. The album was originally supposed to be out a year ago but he just had to run for president.

Listening to Lee now and it is really good. STP will get a full listen when the box set arrives this afternoon.

STP it is!! Have always love Big Bang Baby. It kinda feels like the band is goofing off and having fun. Don’t have any of the box releases…yet.
Didn’t know Tantric was still active.

I didn’t know Tantric was still around either. And that STP song is a fun one. I can’t wait to hear the live show and the bonus disc.

Yngiwe was really nice to let the winner of a local kindergarten art competition do the cover for his new album.

Ha!! It looks like it. Maybe he isn’t as big a prick as I thought he was.

Leon Bridges – Gold-Diggers Sound for me, but I still got to get his 2nd album Good Thing first, I do like his brand of soul, and I did like his debut Coming Home. Very 60’s sounding.

The cover looks like the sound would be from that time period. Glad you found something you like in the bunch. Enjoy!!

Cool list on my birthday day! I am intrigued by the Descendents, so long as Milo is still with ’em. And Leon Bridges is a must.

It’s cool. It’s pretty, then it takes a turn and is fairly Pulp Fiction for a bit there, but then it takes another turn…
