It is August, Summer is creeping to an end, but the heat is getting hotter…speaking of H.E.A.T. The only album I’m interested in is the new H.E.A.T. album. There are a bunch other releases so let me know what you want to hear first this week and if we missed anything. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
H.E.A.T. – Force Majeure – (earMusic / Edel Music & Entertainment): I really liked their last singer, Erik Gronwell, but he left and is now in Skid Row. Great a new singer…but wait. The new singer is their original singer Kenny Leckremo and he is pretty awesome as well. Finally a band changes a singer, I am not unhappy about it. Can’t wait to spin this one!!
And all the rest…

Lauv – All 4 Nothing – (Lauv)
Ouija Macc – Stalewind – (Chapter 17 Records)

Lari Basilio – Your Love – (Lari Basilio)
The Interruptors – In the Wild – (Hellcat)
Dust Star – Open Up That Heart – (Lame-O Records)
Amon Amarth – The Great Heathen Army – (Metal Blade Records)

Definitely HEAT and I’ll check out that band on Lame O Records. Fancy that, the label name stood out more than the band name.

I love that label name. That is one of the more creative ones.

I won’t rush out for it, but I think it’s cool Soulfly is still going and causing havoc. And yeah, I’ll probably get the Uncle Neil, at some point.

Neil’s stuff is coming out faster then people can save up for them.

Good. Release as much as he can before he kicks off. May as well.

The Soulfly album has some solid tracks.
The Psycroptic album rips.
I liked the vibe on the Heavy Gus album.
An album dropped this week from a band called Ether Coven fronted by the singer from Remembering Never and it’s a hard push for my AOTY.
