Welcome to Friday New Releases. We have just shy of 50 releases for you this week and I am sure you will find something you like. If you not you can have your money back…wait…you didn’t pay me any money…so oh well. One of my favorite bands has a new one this week. Def Leppard has a symphony release of their old hits so I’m not overly excited, but I’ll still buy it and listen to it. We also have a new Ghost E.P. of cover songs and it’s Ghost, so give me more!! There is Michael Sweet and Georgy Lynch with another Sweet & Lynch release and you have Dave Matthews Band, Neal Schon, Brandy Clark, The Used and so much more. Friday New Releases – August 5, 2022

It is August, Summer is creeping to an end, but the heat is getting hotter…speaking of H.E.A.T. The only album I’m interested in is the new H.E.A.T. album. Great a new singer…but wait. The new singer is their original singer Kenny Leckremo and he is pretty awesome as well. Finally a band changes a singer, I am not unhappy about it. Can’t wait to spin this one!!

Friday New Releases – September 10, 2021

Welcome to another week of new release and do we have a bunch to choose from. We have an astounding 56 releases today!! That is INSANE!!! With that many albums, there has to be a little in here for everyone. I have a handful that I want to hear today and you will as well I am sure. My choices are in Blue. Includes a 28-page booklet. This will be fun going through and will keep you busy for quite some time.
  • 91K0iweHijS._SX522_  Metallica – The Metallica Blacklist – (Blackened Recordings): This Metallica set if 4 CDs of artists of all sorts of genres playing songs of the album. You get 50+ artists and a pretty cool tribute album basically.

Friday New Releases – September 20th

Another great Friday with another huge selection of releases.  However, the selections aren’t “huge’, if you know what I mean.  There a handful I am interested in hearing, but nothing I am running out and buying.  Streaming for me on these…unless one is so good it warrants a purchase.  I wonder if I have gotten through all the ones from last week (I am writing this two weeks out)  but I doubt it.  Anyway, my choices are highlighted in Blue.  Let me know what you want to hear or if there is anything I missed.  Enjoy and have a great weekend!!

  • 81ejtYxP8SL._SS500_.jpg  Keane – Cause and Effect – (Island Records):  Keane’s debut in 2004, ‘Hopes and Fears’ was fantastic and their second was pretty great as well.  As a result, I do enjoy checking out anything they put out.  Nothing has lived up to those two releases, but still find a golden nugget in each release and they hope is the same on this one.  “Is It Any Wonder” why I would keep trying?  Not really.  Great English Pop.
