Welcome to Friday New Releases. We have just shy of 50 releases for you this week and I am sure you will find something you like. If you not you can have your money back…wait…you didn’t pay me any money…so oh well. One of my favorite bands has a new one this week. Def Leppard has a symphony release of their old hits so I’m not overly excited, but I’ll still buy it and listen to it. We also have a new Ghost E.P. of cover songs and it’s Ghost, so give me more!! There is Michael Sweet and Georgy Lynch with another Sweet & Lynch release and you have Dave Matthews Band, Neal Schon, Brandy Clark, The Used and so much more. Check them out and tell me what you want to hear. And if there is something we missed, tell us in the comments so everyone knows. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!

Ghost, but I’m in no rush. So much stuff arriving in the mail. Hard to find the time!

I’m sure I’ll pick up Ghost and Def Leppard but no rush… there’s quite a lot of stuff coming out over the next few weeks so I need to prioritise.

Yeah, they are good, but no rush to get them is fair enough.

I’ll grab the Ghost EP if it’s on CD. The Sweet & Lynch stuff is probably worth a listen. I’m thinking I should give the Def Leppard album a listen too.
Thanks for the list.

Not snorting and drinking his way through the 80s has worked for Sweet. He still sounds amazing. I listened to a couple of tunes from the Ghost covers record. Their version of Phantom of the Opera (Iron Maiden) starts strong, but falls apart when he starts singing, IMO. I went through the YouTube music new releases this morning and the only thing that really grabbed me was the new Grace Potter single, Mother Road. I assume she has a new album coming soon.

I am sure that helped Michael’s voice a lot. He still sounds sensational. Yes, she does have a new one…not until August 18th.
