Wow! Another month in the books. 3 more to go before we finish out the year. Time flies by!! We end the month with a nice haul of well over 50 releases. I only want to hear a handful of these and they will be marked in Blue. Let me know what you want to hear this week and what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend!
Richard Marx – Songwriter – (Shelter Music Group / BMG Rights Mgt): Can you believe Richard Marx is on his 13th Studio album. Crazy! But thankfully for us he is as I will always take new music from. I’ve been a fan of this pop artist since his mullet days! This album consists of songs in 4 different genres – pop, rock, country and ballads. Interesting.
Monster Truck – Warriors – (BMG Rights Mgmt): This Canadian hard rock, blues rock, southern rock band is back with another album. Have they run their course. I hope not, can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this time around.
The Dead Daisies – Radiance – (The Dead Daisies PTY): The Dead Daisies have had more singers then I care to count, but currently it is Glenn Hughes and I am a fan of his so I am interested in hearing this one for that reason only.
And then all the rest…I might listen to some, but in no hurry…enjoy!

I’m right now listening to Dead Daisies’ Radiance and believe me, it roxx. I’m maybe gonna check Sammy Hagar’s new album and Kiss Of The Gypsy’s brand new EP

I am digging the Daisies. Listening to it right now. Just love Hughes’ vocals.

Off!, definitely… the Pixies probably, and I’m a sucker for Buddy Guy. Making up for all those weeks of “nothing for me.”
I had to look up if Slipknot was actually ending. Kerrang said “So what next for Slipknot? Clown has been very vocal that this will be the band’s final album on Roadrunner Records, and you have to imagine they’re going to be on the road for years to come, but everything else is up in the air. Don’t necessarily bet on them calling time like the album title suggests, though, this could instead be the beginning of Slipknot 2.0. And we are here for it.”

Never got in to Slipknot, so no biggie for me if last one, but i find it hard to believe it will be.

Yeah it won’t be, but it makes sense to me that they would make (what feels to them like) a fresh start, especially after Paul’s and Joey’s deaths. It will still sound like Slipknot though and I am completely OK with that!

I’ll check out Hagar/ MT and Dead Daisies. Good on Marx still putting out stuff. His book was a great read. Thanks for this fella..

Marx still pushing out the product. He is a nice change of pace from the hard rock. Sometimes need something a little lighter and always good.

It’s not, but it isn’t great either. It is way too long (at least the apple music version). I like the Iommi songs most.

Apple Music version??
I liked the Iommi and Beck.
New Alice Cooper live just ordered. Coming tomorrow.

I don’t own Ozzy yet so I’m streaming it on Apple. Not sure if there are more songs than on the CD, but it is a lot of songs at 13 tracks and over an 1 hour long.

Ok same for CD. The last song Darkside Blues is a new version or new mix of the Japanese bonus track on Ordinary Man.

Autopsy is the only one I’ll buy for sure, I might also pick up The Circle. There’s a fair list that I want to check out, I was kind of surprised.

I know this is late, couldn’t figure out how to post on back logs but if no one has checked out Ginevra’s release on 9/16 you’re missing a good album. Especially if you like H.E.A.T, Eclipse and Primal Fear. Members of all bands are playing including Magnus Karlsson who’s awesome on guitar. Lead singer is from Seventh Crystal, Kristian Fyhr who you should check out too. Glad I stumbled upon your posts. Keep up the great work!

Nothing for me, but that Monster Truck album is intriguing because of the blend of blues rock and southern rock.
