Happy Friday!! Well, aren’t all Fridays Happy. Especially when you have new music to hear. This week we have a ton of new albums for you to peruse. And hopefully, you will find something you like. There are a couple I want to hear this week, first and foremost, the new Brittany Howard. What a powerhouse singer she is and her work with Alabama Shakes was nothing short of amazing. The other I’ll check it is the new Revolution Saints. I like Deen Castronovo on vocals so I’ve enjoyed these albums. What do you want to hear this week? What did we miss? Let me know. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend.
Brittany Howard – What Now – (Island Records / UMG)
Revolution Saints – Against the Winds – (Frontiers Records)
Smoking Snakes – Danger Zone – (Frontiers Records)
Happy Friday Everyone! We have another long list of releases for you today and isn’t that why you came to this page…yeah, we know it is. Now this week there are only 2 I’m interested in. One that has been bought and will be here today and the other is one I want to try out as I liked the song I heard and my Canadian followers will be happy. My choices are highlighted in Blue. I am sure there is something on here for you as there is so much there is probably something for everyone. I hope you find something you like! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
Stone Temple Pilots – Tiny Music…Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop (25th Anniversary) – (Atlantics): This is a MUST HAVE!! I have ordered and it is on the way. The first two box sets in the Anniversary Series they are doing were top notch and this one looks great as well. You get a remastered album, a bonus disc of demos and such and then a live show from the era and that is all you want in a good box set. My Brother-In-Law worked on this one as well and he mixed a bunch of he unreleased stuff (or was it the live show, I can’t remember). Anyway, I am excited and I will be really excited if he remembers to get a me a copy of the 7″ Single that is only available on the STP Site.
Lee Aaron – Radio On – (Metalville): And here is a long standing Canadian artist that has been around for a long time and she still sounds fantastic. I heard the track I posted below and it has intrigued me to want to give the rest of the album a listen. Who doesn’t a love a woman who can rock out with the best of them!!
