Welcome to the end of May. The month might be about over, but the new releases keep coming. This week a few I’m interested in streaming, but not necessarily purchase…yet. I would’n’t mind hearing the new Miley, Garbage, Daises and Anderson East albums. What are you interested in hearing or what did we miss. Let us know. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a great weekend.
Miley Cyrus – Something Beautiful – (Columbia Records)
Garbage – Let All That We Imagine Be The Light – (BMG Rights Mgmt)
The Dead Daisies – Lookin’ For Trouble – (Fame – Malaco)
Anderson East – Worthy – (Rounder Records)
Wolves At The Gate – Wasteland – (Solid State Records)
Aesop Rock – Black Hole Superette – (Rhymesayers Entertainment)
Grouplove – Rock N’ Roll You Won’t Save Me (Live) – (Glassnote Music LLC)
Gloria Estefan – Raices – (Sony U.S. Latin)

Lit – Tastes Like Gold – (Round Hill Records): It has been 5 years since their last album and it was more tinged towards country than the pop punk they usually do. This time they are going back to their original sound…thank goodness. Here’s hoping for a return to form.
Iconic – Second Skin – (Frontiers Records): Another Frontiers Supergroup which is actually getting kind of ridiculous…but is one is featuring Nathan James (Inglorious), Michael Sweet (Stryper), Joel Hoesktra (Whitesnake), Marco Mendoza (ex-Journey, Whitesnake), Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake). It was co-produced by Michael Sweet and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Revolution Saints). Hard to argue with a line-up like that. And the fact Michael Sweet isn’t even singing is a huge surprise. Nathan is a beast on vocals so this should be good.
