Sit back and relax. We have one of the biggest weeks ever with releases as there are over 70 new releases this week. WOW!! As a result, there will be no videos this week as it will be too many and slow down the load too much…sorry about that. There are a handful I’m really interested in hearing. Most obviously for me is Needtobreathe’s new one called Cave…I have the CD and Vinyl ordered for this one. The others I want to hear are Core Taylor’s second CMF album, CMF2 and Brian Sezter sounds interesting to me as well. Plus I’d like to hear Demi Lovato’s new one since Nita Strauss is on guitar. Let me know what you want to hear this week or if we missed anything, I’m sure it could’ve happened. Thanks for stopping by and have a great week.

There are a bunch on here aren’t there. Staind is actually next week. I did miss Ronnie though, shame on me!!

Funny about Staind. They must have pushed the date a week. It was to have been today originally.

I think they were on the 15th at one time. I do remember moving them on the list.

I thought Demi Lovato was retiring, or is that just from touring?

To put it into context I have a 2023 playlist set up and every time a new release comes out that I want to hear I add it to the list. It’s at 1023 songs at the moment. 70 hours of music. And I can’t imagine myself going through it all this year.

That is crazy, but I’m right there with you.

I’m ordering the Beaches as we speak. Should have it this weekend.
I also like Demi.

RIDICULOUS. NO AMAZON LISTING FOR THE BEACHES. Are we Canadian, do we support our artists? Apparently not. Get in the game, Amazon you losers.

WHAT???? That is crazy!

And very, very disappointing.

If Jen is heading to the mall today, I’ll get her to look. Chances are Walmart won’t have it, and that’s all that there is left at the mall now. Used to have a Sunrise, and an HMV.

No Beaches at Walmart. No CDs at all actually.

You are right, none. Only streaming currently. I didn’t catch that. Interesting.

Thanks for the heads up on new releases as always Sir. I’ll stream Danko and Steve Miller. Giving my wallet a rest for a while as October is shaping up to be a doozy.

October is going to be deadly with 2 big box sets on pre-order plus a book and several other new releases.

It makes me wonder if this is Amazon’s issue. Maybe the bands label would have to pay to sell on Amazon, or the band themselves, and refuse to. Or they have some kind of aversion to big corporate. Not sure.
I am shocked every week about small indie bands on there and huge bands/albums that are not.
I say give Encore a shout, or hit the ladies up direct.

It seems the Canada Amazon is more hit and miss on what will be on then the US version.

Wow I don’t think you have had a list that I found more intriguing!! I checked out Brian Setzer – The Devil Always Collects already and it took me right back to The Stray Cats days, they were something to behold I can tell you.

I need to listen that one for sure. I loved the Stray Cats. And so glad you finally get an intriguing list. I never know what people will like or not so I list whatever pops up on my radar.

Keep it up I’ll always check in at the very least!

I’m afraid I can’t stop or a few people might hurt me that check it out regularly. I’d probably get death threats. Deke can be mean!! LOL!!

Yep, odd fit for that band, but I’ll take it. It is the 2nd album I know he’ll have in 2024 so far as he’ll have a W.E.T. release as well…their 5th I believe.

Wow that is a long list. Oddly enough, nothing here I feel like I have to have. Maybe a few I’ll check out but really nothing there I feel compelled to buy.

It seems like the longer the list, the fewer things I actually want. Strange correlation.

Danko for sure!!! I’ll give BNL a spin out of respect but it will probably do nothing for me. I’ll check out Beaches too because Mike won’t give it up.

Ha! Mike won’t. I’m with you on the BNL, I don’t expect much anymore

I’m excited for Ronnie Romero’s ‘Too Many Lies, Too Many Masters,’ but I won’t get that one right away. Other than that, nothing for me this week.

I can’t believe I missed that one on the list.

There were a lot of releases last week, so it’s understandable that you would miss a few. But yeah, I enjoyed Ronnie’s album.

I’ve heard the Stephen Marley album…surprisingly not reggae…but very good.

Really, not reggae. That is a surprise. I might check it out out of curiosity now.

Yes…he did a cover of Don’t Let Me Down and he did a version of I Shot The Sheriff…with Clapton…more Clapton’s style.
