Like last week (and pretty much every week), we have a big batch of new releases for you again. This time around there a hair over 30 new albums coming out so hopefully there is something for you. We get, yet another useless, re-release of Motley Crue’s big albums. Seriously guys, can you give us new albums or maybe even bonus tracks that haven’t been released…something to justify this. A few others I want to hear (but not running out to buy) are P!nk, Skillet and Creye. I like all three so happy for some new stuff. What do you want to hear this week? Let us know and also tell us if we missed anything. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Welcome to the first Friday of August and there a bunch of new releases this week. Not many I’m interested in, but hopefully enough for you to find something. My choices are highlighted in Blue. Let me know which ones you are interested and what I might’ve missed so all our readers can see what is there for their choosing. Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a great weekend.
Deep Purple – Whoosh! – (earMusic): I will admit, I haven’t listened to Deep Purple in years until their last release ‘Infinity’ which was pretty good. I’m hoping they have still upped their game here for another solid release. The old guys still have a little left in the tank…thankfully!!
Seventh Day Slumber – Unseen: The Lion E.P. – (Rockfest Records): A hard rock Christian band. That is good enough for me. Not all of their releases have stuck a chord with me, but there has been enough meat on the bone to keep me coming back. Sadly this is only an E.P., but I will take what I can get. This time around it is some worship music which is fine by me.
Happy Friday and thankfully the weekend is here. It is time for sun and fun and new music. There a few releases this week, but only a couple that I am really interested in and they will be highlighted in Blue. Take a look through and let me know what you are interested in hearing or buying and if there is anything I might have missed as that is known to happen. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!!
Crazy Lixx – Forever Wild – (Frontiers Records): One of many Swedish hard rock and glam metal scene and they have been around since 2002. Only two original members left and they are Danny Rexon (Lead Singer) and Joel Cirera (Drums) and I am okay with it. They have hit and missed sometimes, but I am still interested in what they have to offer because it will probably be fun.
Paul Gilbert – Behold Electric Guitar – (Mascot Label Group): The guitar extraordinaire from Mr. Big is back with another solo album. With a title like ‘Behold Electric Guitar’, I think you know what you are about to hear. More electrifying guitar work from a master player. How could this not be great? I guess we will find out soon enough.
