Friday New Releases – June 7, 2024

It is the first new release post of June and we already have a major release. Yes, Bon Jovi is back with their new album ‘Forever’. With Shanks still on board, my hopes are not high for this one but I will listen as I always have hopes they will be good again. I have it on order and it will get reviewed, but not until it’s slot in the Bon Jovi Collection Series that is currently running. Maybe 3 more months. I also want to hear the Loverboy Live album from 1982…their prime!! What are you interested in hearing this week? Let me know and what we may have missed. Friday New Releases – January 10th

Wow!  We are in 2020 and we are now to our first Friday of new releases.  2020!  It is hard to imagine another decade.  How time flies when you are having fun.  And we are having fun…aren’t we???  Anyway, here is our first batch of releases for the new year and if you are in to Pop music, there might be some music for you.  If you are in to some pretty Heavy Metal music, there might be something for you as well.  Otherwise, not so much.  Me, there is nothing I am interested in which is great as I am still digesting my big purchase from a couple weeks ago.  Let me know what you like or if there is something I missed or if there is nothing for you…whatever the reason, leave a comment and have a wonderful music weekend.

  • 71woOwjz-TL._AC_UL115_  Selena Gomez – Rare – (Interscope Records):  An album that was supposed to come out in 2017, finally sees the light of day.  Selena had to work through a lot of issues to get to this point. My kids are interested in this, sadly, not much interest from me.  Apparently a lot of people are interested as the video below is pushing 200 million views.  Good for her.

Friday New Releases – December 7th

Happy Friday.  Welcome to December and we are ever closer to Christmas so the choices get more limited and I have to stop buying so my family has something to get me for Christmas (and my Birthday).  This week there are a handful of releases and a lot of them live. I have highlighted in Blue those I might give a listen, but no promises.  Let me know if there is anything for you or anything I missed.  Have a great music Weekend!!

  • 51wAcQGL3OL._AC_US436_QL65_  Coldplay – Live in Buenos Aires – (Parlophone):  I haven’t listened to Coldplay much at all lately, so not sure why I am interested in hearing this, but it it is calling me.  I will give it a spin.

  • 41ffk6lfXtL._SS500  Gotthard – Defrosted 2: Live – (Nuclear Blast):  When Steve Lee was alive and the lead singer of Gotthard, I was a huge fan.  I haven’t been since and it is no fault of the band, I just found Steve to be AMAZING! and it is hard to get back into the band now.  The original Defrosted was great and I am willing to give this one a try out of respect for the band.
