Happy Friday and we have a ton of releases for you this week with over 50+ new releases. I have a few I want to hear and definitely have purchased one of these so far and it is the first one on the list. Scan through and let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed out on. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  • kisssoundboarddesmoines  Kiss – Off the Soundboard: Des Moines 1977 – (UMe): Kiss on their 4th Soundboard release and I’m a little behind as I haven’t even listened to the last one and there is another one out…crazy. Maybe this will force me to open them both up and spin them. The other 3 have been from the reunion era or later. This is the first one with the classic line-up and I am excited to dive in to this one. Bring ’em on!
  • 51ERxmZexXL._AC_UY436_FMwebp_QL65_  Robbie Williams – XXV – (Robert Williams / Farrell Music Ltd): Robbie Williams is now on his 13th studio album and it his 25th Anniversary as a solo artist. It is full of re-recorded and orchestrated versions of his biggest hits. Plus with the deluxe edition you get three new songs. A must for my collection.

Friday New Releases – May 5th

The first Friday in May is upon us and there is not a ton of stuff out this week.  There are a few artists I am interested in and a bunch I am not.  Hopefully you can find something you will like.  The ones I will listen to first are highlighted in Blue (as usual).

  • 170x170bb-15  Chris Stapleton – From A Room: Volume 1 – (Mercury Records):  In only his 2nd release, Chris Stapleton seems like he has been around awhile…which he has but not as a solo artist.  After the huge success of his debut album I am really interested in hearing what he now brings us.  I actually hope it is more of the same as his first album was spectacular.  If the first single is any indication of what is to come, then we are in for a treat.

  • 170x170bb-8  Blondie – Pollinator – (Noble ID, LLC):  Debby Harry and group are back again with another new release.  This is their 11th studio album and honestly i am surprised (and glad) that they are still putting out albums.  There are still 3 original members including Debby so I guess that still makes a complete enough band to make them still worth hearing and not a Debby Harry solo album.

Friday New Releases – November 25th

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  It is Black Friday and everyone will rush out shopping so you might as well pick up some new music.  There is not a whole lot out which makes sense as it is the day after a major Holiday.  The good thing is it will give me a chance to catch up on some prior releases.  The only two I will give a listen to this week are highlighted in Blue.

  • cover170x170-10  The Weeknd – Starboy – (The Weeknd XO):  His last release actually grew on me and I found it quite interesting.  Hopefully he can take it to the next level with this one and become a bonafide star.  I like his voice and think he has major potential.
