Happy Friday and we have a ton of releases for you this week with over 50+ new releases. I have a few I want to hear and definitely have purchased one of these so far and it is the first one on the list. Scan through and let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed out on. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

  • kisssoundboarddesmoines  Kiss – Off the Soundboard: Des Moines 1977 – (UMe): Kiss on their 4th Soundboard release and I’m a little behind as I haven’t even listened to the last one and there is another one out…crazy. Maybe this will force me to open them both up and spin them. The other 3 have been from the reunion era or later. This is the first one with the classic line-up and I am excited to dive in to this one. Bring ’em on!
  • 51ERxmZexXL._AC_UY436_FMwebp_QL65_  Robbie Williams – XXV – (Robert Williams / Farrell Music Ltd): Robbie Williams is now on his 13th studio album and it his 25th Anniversary as a solo artist. It is full of re-recorded and orchestrated versions of his biggest hits. Plus with the deluxe edition you get three new songs. A must for my collection.

Friday New Releases – June 19th, 2020

Published on by 2loud2oldmusic12 Comments

Welcome back, you made it through another week and you should be proud as who knows what the world threw at us this week as each week it seems to be something worse than the last.  But at least the world is giving us some new music and that makes it all better.  There are a handful of new music I am looking forward to getting and those are marked in Blue. Let me know what you are interested in, if anything, and tell me what I missed.  Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

  • 81Lc7IrBXqL._SX522_  Whitesnake – The ROCK Album (2020 Remix) – (Saltburn / Rhino):  In the first of 3 albums in a new series by Whitesnake, the Rock album is a bunch of remixes of old songs with one new one I believe.  The other two will be out later in the year and in to next year are The Love Album and The Blues Album.  I am glad the Rock starts it all off.  This will finish up my David Coverdale Review series nicely until the other albums come out that is.

  • download-12  Switchfoot – Covers E.P. – (Fantasy Records / Concord):  Ah, I love me some Switchfoot and although not an album of new material, we get a small collection of cover songs.  At least these aren’t your standard fare. You get a cover from Frank Ocean, The Chainsmokers, Vampire Weekend and more.  Should be interesting.

Friday New Releases – December 2nd

As we get closer and closer to Christmas, there will be fewer worth while releases.  However, we aren’t there yet as the Rolling Stones are set to release their new album “Blue & Lonesome”.  This will be tops on my list for today. The others I will check out are highlighted in Blue.

  • cover170x170-32  The Rolling Stones – Blue & Lonesome – (Promotone B.V):  The Stones are going back to their roots and bringing us an old school Stones album and it sounds great from what I have heard so far.  Can’t wait for the rest.

  • cover170x170-40  Night Ranger – 35 Years and a Night in Chicago – (Frontiers Music Srl):  Wow!  35 years of Night Ranger.  I will celebrate by listening to their new live album.  I just picked up their first 3 on vinyl and still love them.
