Friday New Releases – October 6, 2023

Hold on your hat as this week we have over 60 New Releases and I’m excited. There are couple of Box Sets I’m realy excited about with The Darkness giving us a 20th Anniversary Edition of their debut album ‘Permission to Land’ with a 5 disc set. Also, Van Halen is releases The Collection Volume II which consists of all the Sammy Hagar albums on Vinyl and a bonus LP as well. Check out all the releases as I am sure there is something for everyone this week. Let me know what you want to hear or what we may have missed. Friday New Releases – December 1st

We are now in December and only 24 more days until Christmas.  Here are some great gifts to give…new album releases!!!  There is a wide variety of music this week so there might be something for everyone today.  My picks are highlighted in Blue.  What do you see that you like and want to get from Santa???  Let me know. Also, if you want to purchase an album, you can easily click on the link below the album and it will take you straight to iTunes.

  • 91wwrHTyssL._AC_UL115_  Chris Stapleton – From A Room: Volume 2 – (Mercury Nashville):  I am so glad there is a Volume 2 because ‘From A Room: Volume 1’ was sensational.  I am looking forward to what he taps into for this one because if it is anything like the outlaw country / southern rock vibe of the first one, you will be in for a treat.

  • 616S2tyrKrL._SS500  Down ‘N Outz – The Further Live Adventures of… – (Frontier Records):  Joe Elliott from Def Leppard returns with his side project that celebrates the music of Mott the Hoople, British Lions & Ian Hunter.  This time it is a live concert and another reminder of how great their music was.  It deserves to be celebrated.  As a Joe fan, no brainer for me.

Friday New Releases – October 28th

It feels like I just did this last week…oh wait…I did.  Another Friday and another week full of Christmas albums.  I can’t wait (he says very sarcastically).  There are a plethora of new releases, but only a few must haves for me.  There a few metal ones down the list I will probably give a listen to as well.  The most intriguing for me are highlighted in Blue.

  • 51e2Mw7ItvL._AC_US160_  Dee Snider – We Are the Ones – (Snider Than Thou Productions):  The Twisted Sister frontman, Dee Snider, is releasing his first ever solo album and all I can say is..IT IS ABOUT DAMN TIME!!!

Friday New Releases – October 7th

Another fantastic Friday of new releases.  There are so many albums coming out today that if you can’t find one you like, you are not looking hard enough.  Alter Bridge’s new album is the one I am going to get immediately and crank it up on the way to work.  The other ones I am interested in hearing are highlighted in Blue.  I talk about a few them, but there are just so many I want to listen to this week.  I hope I can get through them all.

  • 61ho1rFQ5fL._AC_US160_  Alter Bridge – The Last Hero – (Alter Bridge):  Alter Bridge is back and in full force.  They are one of the best rock bands out there and have the hardest working man in the music business as lead singer, Myles Kennedy.  He has one of the best voices for rock as well.  Mark Tremonti on guitars, Brian Marshall on Bass and Scott Philips on Drums…what else do you need.
