Can you believe it is the end of July already? It is nuts how fast this year has gone. Regardless of how fast it is going, it is never too fast to bring you the Friday New Releases. So, if you are out sitting by the pool like Post Malone is doing, here are some albums for you to blast including the new Post Malone. I might give his a listen and then try Borns new E.P., he’s an interesting chap. But the one I ordered is not a new one. It is the Expanded Edition of the debut album from Billy Idol. Friday New Releases – April 17th

The times are crazy and all we have to look forward to is either President Trumps daily Covid 19 updates or music new releases.  For me, it is the music new releases otherwise I would be writing about Trump.  This week though, there is nothing for me I am really interested in.  There are a handful of releases as a lot of artist have been delaying their releases for some reason.  I hope there is something in here for you. Friday New Releases – April 19th

Today is Good Friday!!  In more ways than I can explain right now.  Easter is this weekend and, the kids are out of school for a week…oh what should we do!!  First, we should check out the new music.  There isn’t a whole lot as it is Easter weekend. Only one that I will definitely listen to and the rest…maybe or maybe not.  My choices are highlighted in Blue.

  • 81fids1zw7l._ss500_  JohnnySwim – Moonlight – (Johnnyswim):  Johnnyswim are a husband/wife duo who I am not that familiar with.  I saw them open for Needtobreathe and I really enjoyed the show, so I will be checking them out.  Plus Chip Gaines of Fixer Upper loves them and his wife had them play for his birthday…I don’t think I could afford to have any band play for my birthday!!

  • 710paSDGp9L._SX522_  Rolling Stones – Honk – (Universal Music):  Yes, another greatest hits package from the aging rockers.  This was to be for their upcoming tour which is now postponed due to Mick having heart surgery.  Prayers out to you sir!!  I will spin it, but when I feel in the mood for it.  Won’t be rushing out to get.

Friday New Releases – March 2nd

Welcome to March and Friday New Releases.  There is not a ton of new stuff, but hopefully there is something for you.  I have a few I will try out, but not super excited about anything.  My choices are highlighted in Blue.  Leave a comment and let me know if there is anything that you would like or something I missed (which I am sure I missed a lot).

  • 61Msln9d8SL._SS500  Andrew W.K. – You’re Not Alone – (Bee & El/Sony):  Here is someone we haven’t heard in a long, long while.  I am looking forward to explore what he has in store.  It is can usually be fun, strange, or who knows what, however, it is usually interesting.

  • 615r8UlIDhL  Michael Schenker Fest – Resurrection – (Nuclear Blast):  This should be an very interesting release as well. The guest list is quite impressive and any Schenker fan will love.  Guest appearances by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, Wayne Findlay and Michael Voss-Schön along with contributions from three original MSG  singers – Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet and Robin McAuley.  Plus Doogie White is on it, who plays with Michael in Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock.
