Friday New Releases – September 29, 2023

The end of another month has arrived and only 3 more to go this year. Crazy how time flies. One way to enjoy the time flying by is listening to new music and we have another large batch of new releases for you this week. There are almost 50 this time around. There are a handful I want to check out, don’t know if I’ll buy, but I’ll listen like KK’s Priest, Black Stone Cherry and even Red…and probably Green Day’s Dookie Deluxe Set…maybe I’ll buy that one, it looks cool. Let me know what you want to hear this week. I am sure a lot of you might like Ed Sheeran’s new one or maybe even LANY as I’m sure those will be pretty popular this week. Friday New Releases – January 21, 2022

  • 71VAIUZH7cL._AC_UY436_FMwebp_QL65_  Kissin’ Dynamite – Not the End of the Road – (Napalm Records): This German band is now on their seventh album and I would say these guys are on to something as they keep getting better. Their 80’s stadium rock sound full of hooks and that anthem sound yet till sound modern. I can’t wait to hear what they have to offer this time around.
  • 81JkNZFtDAL._AC_UY436_FMwebp_QL65_  John Mellencamp – Strictly A One-Eyed Jack – (Republic Records): Can you believe this is his 25th album? Insane right. I hadn’t listened to him in awhile so now I think it is time to check him out again and see if there is still life left in this pirate.

Friday New Releases – December 8th

The closer we get to Christmas, the fewer good new releases coming out.  That doesn’t mean that aren’t any, just fewer to choose from.  For me this week, there are only two Live albums I am interested in hearing and they are highlighted in Blue.  Let me know if there is anything you see that you like.  Have a great day!!

  • images  Collective Soul – Live – (Suretone Records):  One of my favorite bands from the 90’s and from Georgia.  I have followed them since their first single “Shine” way back in 1993 and they haven’t disappointed me ever!!  I am looking forward to a live album as I don’t have one of those in my collection for them.
