Friday New Releases – June 23, 2023

June has seen some big releases a few that I am really enjoying and might end up in my Top 10 list of records for the year. This week has a ton of releases, although nothing I’m running out and buying just yet (if at all). There are a few I will stream such as the new Ayron Jones record as his last was pretty dang great. If this one is, I might be buying this one. There is also a Candlebox live album and a new Jason Mraz. If you are in to them, there is a new Portugal, The Man album and so much more. Friday New Releases – June 16, 2023

You made it through another week and you should celebrate by getting yourself some new music. Luckily for you, I have a list of a lot of new releases that come out today and there are some goodies in here. There a few I’ll listen to this week as I will see if I still don’t like Queens of the Stone Age by listening to their new one. I think I’ll enjoy Joel Hoekstra’s 13 new album even if Jeff Scott Soto isn’t doing main vocals…and lastly, probably blow through the Finger Eleven’s Greatest Hits album and of course The Alarm’s new one as well. Friday New Releases – June 9, 2023

Happy Friday! I am so excited as this is the one week I’ve really been waiting for most of the year (or at least since the albums were announced). There are two albums that for me are the ones I’ve look forward to most of all. Paul Laine’s new album his Danger Danger bandmates and that is The Defiants’ new album ‘Drive’. The bands third studio album and have high hopes. The other album I’m excited by is the new Extreme album, simply titled Six. It has been way too long since their last one. Can’t wait to hear Nuno shred!! There are also a bunch of reissues this week and on some big albums from Niall Horan, Janelle Monae, Jason Isbell and so many more…and yes Frontiers Records has a bunch as is very common. Friday New Releases – June 2, 2023

Get your wallets ready as this week is heating up as Summer is in full force and the releases are coming hard and heavy. This week there are quite a few I want to hear (not necessarily buy, stream yes). First up, Foo Fighter’s first album without Taylor Hawkins and I am looking forward to see what this tragedy does for the band. Then we have some great bands with Rival Sons, Buckcherry, Hollywood Vampires Live and even a deluxe box set of Black Sabbath’s Live Evil. Friday New Releases – May 26, 2023

May is about over and Summer is upon us, but before we get to the Summer months, let’s have one more Friday New Release post. And there isn’t a ton, but there is a lot of metal if you like metal from Metal Church to Iced Earth and everything in between. The only one I’m interested in is Matchbox Twenty as I did like their last album so hoping for some more good stuff. Maybe the Simply Red album will get a stream as well. As the weather keeps heating up, so do the releases, but this week isn’t as hot as others as we only have around 30 for you. Happy Friday and Happy Day After Star Wars Day. The Force is strong this week with new releases…yeah, that was pretty bad. Friday New Releases – April 28, 2023

How is we are already to the end of April…crazy. Well, things are starting to heat up here and definitely in the new releases. We get another Whitesnake Box Set and I am thrilled as Coverdale knows how to do these right. This one is on order and hopefully will arrive today. I’m also looking forward to Disciple and Colton Dixon who both are Christian artists just at each end of the spectrum…one metal, one pop. And that is it for me. What do you want to hear this week? Friday New Releases – April 21, 2023

Happy Friday and that statement is true because any day with new albums is a Happy Day!! We have around 35 new releases for you this week and a couple I’m interested in hearing, but won’t buy just yet. Through Fire and Texas Hippie Coalition will get my rock going this week. There are a bunch of Frontiers Records releases as they always do a bunch at one time and an MTV Unplugged for Twenty One Pilots might be interesting too. I hope there is something you like. Happy Friday! So glad you stopped by. We have a handful of releases for you this week. Not as many as most weeks, but, HEY!, any releases makes it a great Friday!! Right!?!? There are a couple I want to hear, most especially Kiss’ new Off the Soundboard from Poughkeepsie with Mark St. John…totally cool. And there is Linkin Park’s 20th Anniversary Edition of Meteora and the new Paul Gilbert (the guy can play a guitar!!) as well. Other than that, there isn’t really anything else.
