Halloween is almost upon us and we’ve scared up over 80 releases for you this week. No tricks, only treats!! There are so many bands, so many genres and so many great things to hear there should be something for everyone. I’ve got a few I want to hear with James Blunt, Duran Duran, Dokken and probably Black Pumas as well. Let me know what you want to hear this week and/or what we may have missed as well so everyone knows. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a scary good weekend!!
James Blunt – Who We Used to Be – (Atlantic Records / Warner Music)
Duran Duran – Danse Macabre – (Tape Modern / BMG Rights Mgmt)
Dokken – Heaven Comes Down – (Silver Lining Music)
Motley Crue – Shout at the Devil (40th Anniversary) – (BMG Rights Mgmt)
Mark Tremonti – Mark Tremonti Christmas Classics New & Old – (Mark Tremonti Music)
Black Pumas – Chronicles of a Diamond – (ATO Records)
King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – The Silver Cord – (KGLW)

Lit – Tastes Like Gold – (Round Hill Records): It has been 5 years since their last album and it was more tinged towards country than the pop punk they usually do. This time they are going back to their original sound…thank goodness. Here’s hoping for a return to form.
Iconic – Second Skin – (Frontiers Records): Another Frontiers Supergroup which is actually getting kind of ridiculous…but is one is featuring Nathan James (Inglorious), Michael Sweet (Stryper), Joel Hoesktra (Whitesnake), Marco Mendoza (ex-Journey, Whitesnake), Tommy Aldridge (Whitesnake). It was co-produced by Michael Sweet and Alessandro Del Vecchio (Hardline, Revolution Saints). Hard to argue with a line-up like that. And the fact Michael Sweet isn’t even singing is a huge surprise. Nathan is a beast on vocals so this should be good.
Passenger – Songs for the Drunk and Broken Hearted – (Nettwerk Music Group): Passenger isn’t really a band name, it is the stage name for Michael David Rosenberg. I like his brand of folk and indie music. He has a pleasant voice and he’s a great songwriter. Give him a listen.
