I have had the whole week off and did a staycation. It was awesome. But that doesn’t mean I still can’t bring you the Friday New Releases to you and this week we have around 40 albums for you. I am curious about the 38 Special album and the Jelusick so those will get a listen. Jury is out on Mike Tramp because I am not enjoying these rehashed White Lion songs. If I want to hear the White Lion songs, I’ll listen to the WHITE LION SONGS! Sorry…I was about to go on a giant rant there. Anyway, let me know what you want to hear this week or what we may have missed. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
38 Special – Milestone – (38 Special Records)
Mike Tramp – The Songs of White Lion Vol. III – (Frontiers Records)

I Prevail – Violent Nature – (Fearless Records)
Nine Inch Nails – Tron: Ares (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) – (The Null Corporation and Walt Disney / Interscope Records)
Cardi B – Am I The Drama? – (Atlantic Records)
Biffy Clyro – Futique – (1968 Ltd / Warner Music)

Briscoe – Heat of July – (ATO Records)

Panic at the Disco – Viva Las Vengeance – (Fueled by Ramen / WEA): Brendon Urie is back with his 7th album and I am sure I will be hearing a lot of this as all my girls love this guy. Yes, even my wife. I don’t mind them so I won’t be bothered by hearing at as he has some great tracks. Hoping for a few more here. My oldest daughter actually has all his albums on vinyl and I am sure she will be getting this one to…I’m sure I’ll be paying for it somehow.
Five Finger Death Punch – Afterlife – (Better Noise Music): These metal men are back with more aggressive angry metal. I’m not a huge fan, but there are always a handful of songs I end up liking and I have a pretty good playlist going. Here’s hoping for a few more to add on.
Michael Sweet’s 10th solo studio album brings us a very Stryper sounding album, but one that takes us back to the early days of Yellow & Back Attack and To Hell With the Devil which in my opinion is a very good thing. He brings a special guest on each song which you would think would make the album a little disjointed, but it works on so many levels. The album rocks out from beginning to end!
