The big release of the week would have to be Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s new album, but that one is not for me. Instead I have on pre-order the new Pop Evil as well as the Rush 50 Set. I’ll stream the new Gotthard release and decide then whether or not to get. But there is still a lot of other releases so something is bound to tempt you. Friday New Releases – June 9, 2023

Happy Friday! I am so excited as this is the one week I’ve really been waiting for most of the year (or at least since the albums were announced). There are two albums that for me are the ones I’ve look forward to most of all. Paul Laine’s new album his Danger Danger bandmates and that is The Defiants’ new album ‘Drive’. The bands third studio album and have high hopes. The other album I’m excited by is the new Extreme album, simply titled Six. It has been way too long since their last one. Can’t wait to hear Nuno shred!! There are also a bunch of reissues this week and on some big albums from Niall Horan, Janelle Monae, Jason Isbell and so many more…and yes Frontiers Records has a bunch as is very common. Friday New Releases – October 22, 2021

Happy Friday. And boy, do we have a ton of releases for you this week. We are bringing you 53 new albums for you to checkout. I know, you will never get to them all as there is no way, so find the ones you want the most and check them out. I really have enjoyed there albums so this will add to the collection and I am sure it sounds better than Cure probably will…oooh…sorry that was harsh.
  • 81RdiE11GcS._SX522_  Duran Duran – Future Past – (Tape Modern / BMG): This is the band’s15th studio album and will feature collaborations with Giorgio Moroder, Mark Ronson, Lykke Li. These guys have been going strong for 40 years and I can say I am interested in to what they have to bring us now. Their releases have been hit or miss with me, but there are always a bunch of tracks I do like so ready to give it a try every time they release a new one.

Friday New Releases – May 27th

It has been an incredibly busy week and I am looking forward to some new music.  Friday’s new releases have some good choices to try.  See if there is anything that excites you.  My top choices are highlighted in Blue.

  • 61E-SCkAK2L._AA160_  Paul Gilbert – I Can Destroy – (Pronghorn) – The former lead guitarist for Racer X and the Mr. Big lead guitarist releases his latest solo album I Can Destroy. The first 2 songs I have heard rock out hard and his guitar work is amazing.
