Friday New Releases – October 14, 2022

Welcome to another Friday New Releases. We have a bunch here for you this week, I mean a ton…over 50 coming your way. I am sure there will be something for everyone on this one. Have a few I want to hear and I will mark those in Blue. Let me know what you want to hear this week and what we may have missed as that does happen believe it or not. I’m not as perfect as you think I am…really!! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

And this one won’t have videos for all them as the time I’m writing, I’m still recuperating and still uncomfortable.

  • 81jObf5RGOL._AC_UY436_FMwebp_QL65_  Skid Row – The Gang’s All Here – (earMusic / Edel Music & Entertainment): Skid Row is doing something they haven’t done since Sebastian Bach left the band and that is have people optimistically anticipating a new album. That is all because they now have Eric Gronwell (formerly of the band H.E.A.T.) as their lead singer. Hell, I want to hear it now as I love Eric. Can’t wait for this one.
  • 81v5MgKJ5XL._AC_UY436_FMwebp_QL65_  Alter Bridge – Pawns & Kings – (Napalm Records): Mark Tremonti and Myles Kennedy return with another album. I will admit, I have been a little bored lately with their releases. Now, I love Tremonti releases and Myles solo stuff, but Alter Bridge has left me with a feeling somethings missing. Hopefully this will recapture some of the early magic.

Friday New Releases – June 25, 2021

Happy Friday everyone!! You made it to another weekend so sit back, grab a coffee and relax. There are over 45 albums on here which might the most I’ve ever had on a list. Knowing that, I am confident there will be something for you to enjoy. I have a handful of releases I am excited about and they are highlighted in Blue. Let me know what you would like to hear or what I may have missed so everyone can know about the release. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful and exciting weekend.

  • 81hL6enEcpS._SX522_  Queensryche – Operation: Mindcrime (4CD/DVD Box Set) – (Capitol Records): We getting a double treatment of goodness from Queensryche. The first is a 4CD box set celebrating my favorite concept album Operation: Mindcrime. It has the remastered album, bonus track and I believe live shows as well as a DVD with a lot of videos. I can’t wait.
  • 71D59HZ0n6S._SX522_  Queensryche – Empire (3CD/DVD Box Set) – (Capitol Records): The second is a three disc set of their masterpiece Empire. Another of my favorite albums. This is remastered with more bonus material and a live show. Everything you would want. And a DVD of the videos and such.

Friday New Releases – October 8th

Another great Friday of new releases this week.  I’m telling you this is shaping up to be a great month.  I have another item this week on order that will hopefully be there when I get home from work.  We have lot of Rock this week which is always good, but so much so that there is no way I will get to it all…ever!  My choices are highlighted in Blue.  Let me know what I missed and what you might be interested in hearing.  Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful music weekend.  I know I will!!

  • michaelsweettencd  Michael Sweet – Ten – (Frontiers Records):  Lead singer of Stryper is here with his 10th solo release…10 is hard to believe, but it is true. I just did a Michael Sweet album ranking and can’t wait to see where this falls on the list.  I am hoping for some hard and heavy stuff.  Check out the song below and go gran this one.

  • 71yVfmGk8RL._AC_UL115_.jpg  Eclipse – Paradigm – (Frontiers Records):  I love this band.  This Swedish rock band is now on their 8th album and it is pure melodic rock, glam rock, hair metal bliss.  They seem to be getting better with age kind of like a fine wine.  Give them a try.

Friday New Releases – November 9th

Wow!! The new releases are coming in droves. Another extensive list of releases this week just like last.  There has to be something for everyone as the artist here cover the gamut of genres.  There are a handful I am interested in streaming at least, not sure about buying…yet.  I will test the waters first.  Those are highlighted in Blue.  What do you see that you like?  Let me know and let me know what releases are missing from the list.  I hope you find something.  Have a great weekend!!

  • 71z5r6SxinL._SL1200_.jpg  Stephen Pearcy – View to a Thrill – (Frontiers Records):  The lead singer of Ratt (or some version of it) is back with another solo effort.  I am becoming very skeptical of this release with all the antics going on with him from the latest Ratt tour…not a pretty picture. The tracks I have heard so far are so, so…but after his last one was pretty decent, I will give this one a try.  We will see.

  • 51WFlCQ79xL._AC_US436_QL65_  Red Dragon Cartel – Patina – (Frontiers Record):  Jake E. Lee isback with Red Dragon Cartel’s 2nd album.  I get the impression this is a real band now and so the songs should be solid and consistent.  I am digging what I have heard and have higher expectations for this one over the last.  I can’t wait to crank this one up.

It has been an incredibly busy week and I am looking forward to some new music.  Friday’s new releases have some good choices to try.  See if there is anything that excites you.  My top choices are highlighted in Blue.

  • 61E-SCkAK2L._AA160_  Paul Gilbert – I Can Destroy – (Pronghorn) – The former lead guitarist for Racer X and the Mr. Big lead guitarist releases his latest solo album I Can Destroy. The first 2 songs I have heard rock out hard and his guitar work is amazing.
