A whole lot of stuff coming your way as we draw closer to the Holidays. We have about 40 releases for you and by the look of it, you probably can’t guess what year we are in as we have items from Def Leppard, Kiss, Aerosmith, The Beatles, Stryper, Eric Clapton, Jethro Tull and Prince to name a few. I have a lot on pre-order today with Def Leppard, Kiss, Stryper and The Beatles. I’m skipping Aerosmith as I haven’t brought myself to listen to it yet with Yungblud. Friday New Releases – September 15, 2023

Sit back and relax. We have one of the biggest weeks ever with releases as there are over 70 new releases this week. WOW!! As a result, there will be no videos this week as it will be too many and slow down the load too much…sorry about that. There are a handful I’m really interested in hearing. Most obviously for me is Needtobreathe’s new one called Cave…I have the CD and Vinyl ordered for this one. The others I want to hear are Core Taylor’s second CMF album, CMF2 and Brian Sezter sounds interesting to me as well. Plus I’d like to hear Demi Lovato’s new one since Nita Strauss is on guitar. Friday New Releases – August 27, 2021

Welcome to the final Friday New Release post in August and let me tell you there are a bunch to choose from this week. There are over 50 new albums to pick from so sit back and get on scrolling as I am sure you will find something you like. There are a handful I want to hear, but nothing I am running out to buy at this time. The ones I want to hear are marked in Blue.   • 81JBdQH7PhS._SX522_  Brian Setzer – Gotta Have the Rumble – (Surfdog): Brian Setzer, former front man of The Stray Cats, is back with another solo album. I am hoping for some good old rockabilly as no one does it better. His singing and guitar playing are exceptional and I am always ready for a good time from Setzer.
  • download  Big Red Machine – How Long Do You Think It’s Going to Last? – (Jagjaguwar / 37d03d): I know nothing about this band, but keep seeing good things about it so I am going to venture out and try this one. The band is Aaron Dessner and Justin Vernon and the music is indie/alt/folktronica which I didn’t even know was a thing. We will see how it turns out.

Friday New Releases – April 26th

I should be arriving home today from vacation in Paris, France so I will be a little late getting to these releases, but there are a bunch I want to at least listen to first before I buy.  All my choices are highlighted in Blue.  Let me know what you are interested in or if there is something I might have missed as that happens…a lot!!  Enjoy and have a great weekend.  I know I will be resting from this trip and I am sure suffering major jet lag.

  • 81v8c1Xq1AL._AC_UL115_  Rob Thomas – Chip Tooth Smile – (Atlantic Records):  The former Matchbox 20 frontman is finally back with a new solo album after four years.  I liked his early stuff and definitely early Matchbox 20.  I am hoping he captures a little of that lost magic, but I don’t know yet as I haven’t listened to anything yet, not even the video posted below.  I will try it out, he has earned that.

  • 41o9cEfsGBL._AC_US320_QL65_  Rodrigo y Gabriela – Mettavolution – (Rubyworks):  This might actually be first up on the playlist.  I love these two.  Their instrumental, flamenco style music is at times breathtaking.  High expectations as I have never been disappointed before.  Give them a listen if you have heard them before…it is really cool.
