We are already into August. You know what that means, right? Christmas music is only a short time away! LOL!! I’m so kidding. It is still nice and hot, however, the releases aren’t this week. There is only one I’m getting and that is the Kix box set. I have some of their stuff on vinyl so why not get the CDs all in one bunch. Yes, please! That is it for me this week. Friday New Releases – October 6, 2023

Hold on your hat as this week we have over 60 New Releases and I’m excited. There are couple of Box Sets I’m realy excited about with The Darkness giving us a 20th Anniversary Edition of their debut album ‘Permission to Land’ with a 5 disc set. Also, Van Halen is releases The Collection Volume II which consists of all the Sammy Hagar albums on Vinyl and a bonus LP as well. I am missing the final two albums and the bonus disc will be nice so I have that on order as well. I’m also eager to hear the new Ida Mae album and Keanu Reeves Dogstar. Friday New Releases – June 2, 2023

Get your wallets ready as this week is heating up as Summer is in full force and the releases are coming hard and heavy. This week there are quite a few I want to hear (not necessarily buy, stream yes). First up, Foo Fighter’s first album without Taylor Hawkins and I am looking forward to see what this tragedy does for the band. Then we have some great bands with Rival Sons, Buckcherry, Hollywood Vampires Live and even a deluxe box set of Black Sabbath’s Live Evil. Friday New Releases – October 2, 2020

Welcome to October and this month starts off with a BANG!! There are so many releases this week and a ton I am interested in at the very least, hearing. October has a lot coming so this is only the beginning. Everyone that has been holding off due to Covid is finally being released. This week, I am sure there is something you will find that you like. I am going to highlight my choices in Blue. I want you to let me know what you want to hear and what I may have missed that is coming out.   • 91MiwNRPU3L._SX522_  Queen & Adam Lambert – Live Around the World – (Hollywood Records): This one is on order and I hope it will arrive sometime today as I am dying to hear this one. I took my daughter to see them on their most recent tour and since Adam sounded amazing, it will be nice to have an album with him on vocals.

  • 71NNfjYV4dL._SS500_  Bon Jovi – 2020 – (Captain Kidd / Island Records): Am I excited about this one or what?? Actually, it is or what! I am not excited at all and do not have this on order. I am only interested in hearing it to confirm to myself that Bon Jovi is still not worth a damn anymore. Now, if I find the vinyl in the used section of my local store and less than $10…I might pick it up as the completist in me feels the need to do. I haven’t liked what I’ve heard so far so my hopes aren’t very high.

Friday New Releases – June 2nd

Can you believe we are already in to June???  Crazy!  And it has already gotten crazy hot here in Charlotte…and it isn’t even Summer yet (officially).  At least there are some Hot New Releases to keep you COOL!!!  There are only a handful I am looking to grab and they are highlighted in Blue.  I hope there is something that you are interested in getting.

  • 170x170bb (85)  U2 – The Joshua Tree (Deluxe) – (Island Records):  I can not believe it has been 30 years since this album was originally released. I was a senior in High School and this album was huge.  It is one of the world’s best selling albums.  U2 is commemorating the 30th anniversary with a new Deluxe Edition and a World Tour celebrating this album.  Who can forget all those great songs “Where The Streets Have No Name” “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For”, “Bullet The Blue Sky” and “With Or With Out You”.  There is a 2CD Deluxe Edition which includes a live album of the Joshua Tree Tour and a SUPER DELUXE Edition which is a 4 CD set and includes 2 additional discs or remixes and rare songs from that time.  I definitely will be checking this out.

  • 81XAcRTPPLL._AC_UL160_SR160,160_  Adrenaline Mob – We the People – (Century Media):  Russell Allen (Symphony X) and Mike Orlando are back with their 3rd full length release.  The first two were great metal albums and I am not expecting anything less than spectacular with this one.  Climb aboard and check out the rush that comes with listening to these guys.
